Malek saved this series when he showed up in the middle. It was headed to snooze-town after the soap opera side episode in Australia, and then he showed up and made it way more interesting. This was one of his earliest roles, and he was playing it on a whole different level from everyone else.
Villains are easily replaced by new villains.
The MCU is really missing Captain America (Evans), Iron Man (Downey), and Black Widow (Johansson).
The only good MCU movie since they left was Spiderman: No Way Home. Everything else has flopped, or should have flopped.
The casting was fine for the way they wrote Hawkeye. And they did make a point of making Hawkeye the soul of the team later in the series.
But in the comics Hawkeye was more light-hearted and easy-going, not so serious. He was my favorite Avenger as a kid, but unrecognizable in the movies.
Yeah, there are easier ways to wipe out humanity. Maybe he wanted to make it look like an accident.
An underrated MCU film though, one of the better ones.
Go back and watch a high quality print of Patton, or Ran. They almost look 3D.
Some of the older movies on film look better than any UHD digital, not because of the resolution, but because films used to use Technicolor instead of all the sepia washed out look that is popular now.
You would think it wouldn't be that hard to go live somewhere and not get mad at people. Just stay off the highway.
Six billion would be believable.
The Atlanteans were worried people might start to figure out where Atlantis was.
Blake is easier to remember. And Dorian reminds people of Dorian Gray.
Just like Lois Lane, always needing Superman to rescue her. And no one making the connection that her fellow reporter, who is built just like Superman and could be his twin brother, is not around when she gets rescued.
The first two had great music. This one didn't have a single good song until the credits.
A modern remake could make it a lot more realistic.
People who are mature and responsible do better later in life. He was pretty square for high school.
Plus McDowell's could use a janitor who can run off the riff-raff.
I'll bet you a dollar it wasn't.
Currahee was 3 miles up, and 3 miles down. And Captain Sobel would make the whole company run it if someone hadn't stuffed their pants into their boots properly.
Very underrated back then, and it still holds up today.
Definitely. O Brother, Where Art Thou should have a whole box of Oscars.
Great comedy, much better actors than you usually get in movies like this.
I thought it looked familiar.
