Not sure who would remake it, but I'd watch it again if it were on TV. "Fast Break" did it better. Not ridiculous at all. This movie did everything well that movie makers try to accomplish -- script, acting, cinematography, emotion, and amazing stunts, while entertaining a mass audience. That's a lot harder to do than making something clever and arty that appeals to a niche audience. People seemed to love this, at least the people who watched it. I would have voted for Top Gun Maverick, even though it was an action movie, and a sequel to campy cult classic. TGM had a good script, good acting, good cinematography, high stakes and great stunts. In short, they did everything well that movie makers try to do, including making great entertainment for a mass audience. Next year's Oscar winner.... best supporting actor for the bear. The beginning was the best part. He's not Aztec in the movie, he's Mayan. In the comics he's Atlantean, which is a made up nationality, so you can't really say what he was. There were <spoiler>4 people killed, plus one dog. One of the people was killed indirectly, while trying to flee. The other 3 were killed pretty brutally, but it was quick. The dog was killed off screen. 2 other people were attacked and left for dead, but turned out to have survived.</spoiler> yeah, like don't rush the real world trials... keep it in the lab for a while first. Yeah, how lazy are those two women? Just leave a hole in the fence forever, so the dog can escape and maim someone? Yeah, I knew making it from titanium alloy would turn out to be a mistake. Then check out "Better Than Us", the 2018 Russian TV series about just such an android, that escapes and goes rogue. Way better than this. We are machines too, so we know that machines can become sentient. This movie's trailer had the misfortune of competing against the trailer for the new Flash movie during the Superbowl. It wasn't close, unlike the game. The Flash was the best of the Arrowverse. It started great and even the later seasons had some great storylines and character arcs. But it petered out like a lot of good shows do eventually. The whole cast was great and I wish them success and happiness in whatever comes next. And how does Superman build such big muscles anyway? I don't get ripped from picking up a soda can, which is about how much effort Superman has to make to lift most things. Does he have a few supertankers full of lead at the Fortress of Solitude to use for his bench press? I'm not so sure. She's supposed to be more ruthless. But the point about body mass vs. super strength is pointless. If Wonder Woman were built like Lucy Lawless or Gina Carano instead of Gal Gadot or Lynda Carter, she still couldn't lift a tank. And Henry Cavill is built like he could lift 3 or 400 pounds, not a five story building. It's super strength, and doesn't depend on musculature. In the Flashpoint animated movie, Kal-El's muscles have atrophied from being held prisoner in a government lab, but he's still far stronger than anyone else on the planet. Flashpoint was a thing long before any so-called "Spider-verse". George Clooney. But there's only one Batman Begins.
