He had an old brown car too. Denzel was wanting to buy it.
He wasn't forced to confess, he came in voluntarily to confess in the earlier case. He knew a lot about the case, but not the non-public details. Which proves that he was either A) a serial killer fanboy who wanted to be a suspect, or B) a real psychopath serial killer who wanted to dilute any evidence against him for future crimes he might commit, since "fake confessors aren't serial killers." The movie lets you think it could be either case. But the point is that even if he is the killer, the detectives are supposed to prove it, not take justice into their own hands.
Well that alone would convict him. It's amazing anyone gets acquitted.
50-50. There were only 2 appliance shops nearby.
That's all called circumstantial evidence. A lot of people eat roast beef. And the appliance repair connection is how Denzel first suspected him -- it's a circular reference, not an independent point of evidence. Sparma has no evidence from the victims in his apartment. And a creepy serial killer fanboy might wisely hide his hobby from any friends who come over. The girl identifying him is the strongest evidence, but they can't use it because she saw him being taken into custody, and she never got a good look at the guy who was after her.
Even if he was the killer (he may well have been), a detective is supposed to solve the case, and present enough evidence for a jury to convict him, not finish him off like Judge Dredd.
Baxter (Malek) was shocked by his own reaction, feeling he had ruined his career. Deacon (Denzel) tried to help him cover it up. It was wrong either way.
I just want to finally find out what happened to Bruce Wayne's parents.
He said he would serve Bo Katan, so I guess whatever she wants.
Lizzo was very good in that episode.
What do these giant beasts normally eat? How do they get so big? These planets look pretty empty, except for giant predators. Where is their usual prey?
And how is it cool for the Mandalorians to keep killing endangered creatures, just because they're hungry?
I guess they did save the 3 pterodactyl chicks.
And where do they store the fuel? I thought they were for emergency jumps and getaways.
I guess the same place Paz stored all of his ammo.
And Season 5 will jump 30 years ahead, instead of showing us how she did it.
The whole season is disjointed -- flash forwards, flash backs, throwaway episodes when there aren't many episodes left to throw away. Linear story telling is a lost art form I guess.
She definitely stops you from continuing to flip through the channels though.
Most kids are basically good. Hollywood would have made it less believable.
The ball and the hoop are the same, there's just more people watching.
Nowadays they just call it NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) and the money is above the table.
Makes me feel old....
Juancho Hernangomez was great in this too.
Love the psychedelic basketball court.
