I was shocked. Looks like DC made a.... really good Flash movie?
Here's hoping....
Bane was a joke in this movie, worse than Mr. Freeze.
Bane in The Dark Knight Rises was menacing.
The Internet existed, but very few people used it until about 1991 when the World Wide Web and Netscape and AOL started.
Alexa.
Plus Deep Fakes, and reality TV.
Austin Butler was good and should get serious consideration for best actor.
Not even close on best picture. Definitely not on makeup (go back and see the real Elvis.)
Maybe on sound.
There's a good movie in there somewhere. Just needed better editing, and a bit more focus.
Unintended consequences. Somehow people don't see them coming.
This will become a timeless Christmas classic, played every year. Just watch.
I would say it's the best of Phase 4 so far.
Though I did like Wanda Vision. Too bad they made her <spoiler>the big villain in the Dr. Strange Multiverse movie.</spoiler>
I took it as social commentary. A wealthy celebrity calls the cops, and 3 squad cars show up within a minute or two.
Sunday's on the phone to Monday.
Tuesday's on the phone to me....
Better than most TV series these days, by a lot.
Jenna Ortega was awesome. Gwendoline Christie and Riki Lindhome were great as the principal and the school psychologist too. The other actors were okay, especially for kids.
The Penguin was pretty creepy in this. It's the only Batman movie I don't watch every time it's on TV.
The Flash (and speedster type villains) is vastly underrated for this very reason. Force = mass x acceleration, so one high-speed punch could vaporize most opponents. Plus the speedster could outmaneuver anyone so it would exceedingly difficult to injure them.
But Wonder Woman isn't some civilian on the street. She also has super speed (not Flash level) and super reflexes (she can stop flying bullets by moving her wrists to block them, that's not bad), to go along with super strength and durability.
The Adam West version was far smarter.
They may have to, the way Phase 4 is going.
He's a cheapskate for not hiring private security.
Never heard of Theodore Roosevelt (Spanish-American War)?
Harry Truman (WW1)?
Rutherford Hayes, Ulysses Grant (Civil War)?
Franklin Pierce, Zachary Taylor (Mexican-American War)?
William Harrison, Andrew Jackson (War of 1812)?
George Washington (French and Indian War, Revolutionary War)?
The White Album. Way too much filler, like they were joking around to see if anyone would notice. None of the other albums had filler.
Marvel has lost their way.
