Yes, Arnold's daughter in FUBAR.... Arnold is funny and the daughter is hot. They both seem really dumb for being supposedly the smartest spies in their respective classes though. And shouldn't a spy be nondescript and able to blend in? Wouldn't someone who looks like Arnold be instantly recognizable and easy for people to remember? Yeah, you would think the British would be bitter about guys who were dropping bombs on them and trying to destroy their cities and kill their families. But the movie makes them look like another team in a sporting contest, one that fought well but lost. I guess when the movie was made Britain needed West Germany as an ally against the USSR more than they needed to keep the old animosity against Germany alive. The flying was great, and so was Susannah York. The script needed a lot of work. It was hard to follow what was happening when, where, and why, and the characters that were followed seemed pretty random. It's like everyone forgets about the Italian Campaign. The USA already had troops in Europe. Not really "the world's first smartphone" though. The only breakthrough was the texting feature, making it a two-way pager as well as a phone. Her act is hilarious, the best part of the show. They never give it enough screen time. The jokes aren't all that great, but her delivery is awesome. I assumed she was a comedian before this, but she wasn't. She's based on Joan Rivers, but less caustic (and better looking). Equally shocking to people of that time. Mammals don't have scales. So she had a kid when she was 15? Barbie had a job and a house and a car. I figured she was about 27. Nike was the underdog. Converse dominated the NBA then, and Adidas the rest of the world. Yeah, very few people ever heard of Sonny Vaccaro. But it's an underdog story, about the distant 3rd place shoe company betting on the third pick in the draft. And a guy who recognized greatness betting his career on being right. And giving a piece of the pie to the actual athlete for the first time, instead of cashing in on his fame. Probably not, but it was an interesting story, and very well told. And there were 8 to 14 teams back then, not 30. And Russell averaged 15 points a game, and shot 44%. Great defender, but don't get carried away. Best Picture of 2023 so far. And Michael Jordan's mom steals the show. Makes sense to me. The original movie captured the heart and essence of the character, and Man of Steel had some of the greatest super-powered fights ever. Nope. Wrong on both counts. The team taught the coach about life. And he ended up dating a player's sister, not their mom or teacher. Better Call Saul was pretty good, granted.
