This series wasn't very good.
Still the best Wonder Woman.
Especially the cliffhangers. You never knew if he would escape or not in the next episode, or if this was the end.
Let's be honest, the show was pretty bad. But it was still great as a kid.
Well, he kind of was, at least to libertarians like Jefferson. Giving the wealthy people of the country a stake in its stability was a smart move, but not necessarily to the benefit of the freedom lovers.
Well played by Rufus Sewell, as have been many fine villains.
Seeing one of the three wise men show up was a surprise.
Kapture of course.
It's 80's schlock. Which people liked, in the 80's. No one was worried that someone might be offended (for better of for worse).
This movie was pretty risque for 1938. I noticed it was rated "Adult" in the UK. Probably like PG-13 or R nowadays.
Would have been better with a darker ending.
Bale was great, as usual. Edgerton was good as Ramses too, even if he was in Egyptian-face.
They made the movie more believable. Were the plagues sent by God, or just the result of natural processes? Was Moses really speaking with God, or just delusional from years of wandering in the desert?
The movie had great special effects and a good story and great acting from Moses and Ramses. The problem was that none of the secondary characters got much development at all.
Casting for the all-knowing pen Steve was pretty good though.
He was basically ChatGPT, with a fax function.
As they say, sufficiently advanced technologies are indistinguishable from magic.
(See garage door openers and "open sesame," crystal balls and television, flying carpets and helicopters.)
No plan, no courage to stick to what plan they did have. Rushed to do the team-up before introducing the main players individually.
This movie is an underrated gem. Batman at his most lethal and ruthless. Superman matched against a truly dangerous enemy. Wonder Woman bringing her light and her charisma.
Compare it to Mavel's Civil War, out at the same time with a similar plot. That looked like a practice scrimmage between two groups of friends. This looked like a death match.
Better than Black Adam or Thor: Love and Thunder.
Apparently you missed Thor: Love and Thunder, Dr Strange: Multiverse of Madness, Thor: the Dark World, Eternals, Suicide Squad (both versions) and Whedon's Justice League.
Levi is perfect for the part. It's nice to have a light-hearted superhero movie after the doom and gloom of the Snyder Cut Justice League.
She looked good. So did Billy's mom, surprisingly. Odd that they threw in a bedroom scene.
Way better than I expected. The story made sense and the movie was fun. No threat at the Academy Awards, but worth watching. Way better than Black Adam.
