Oh no, I'm so sorry to trigger Muck fans! =( And their sock puppets. Robert Reich was wrong to say that. Musk should just be straight up put against a wall etc. etc. Looks like this guy died of cancer or something 3 yrs ago. Too bad RIP✝ Apparently fucktrump.exe ver.2.0.2.4 runs very well. Even soulless robots hate Trump. Yeah, yeah, have fun at the Proud Boys meeting tonight, you big stud. They definitely let Phil Tippet get his freak on in this project. It definitely had more comedic touches than I expected, at least before I saw "Directed by Joe Dante" in the opening credits. On the whole, it's obviously a horror movie. Horror movies are allowed to have comedy mixed in. It had a lot more laughs that Jaws, that doesn't mean it's a completely different genre. They establish in the very first scene in the movie with her freaking out about her plane ticket that he's a stone cold bubble brain ditz. There's a recent Robert Rodriguez interview on the blu ray where he says when he storyboarded the second Mariachi movie, he drew the hero with "long hair like Conan the Barbarian." When he casted Banderas, he assumed he would have short hair because it had been short in the couple of movies he'd seen him in so far. I remember Tie Me Up Tie Me Down, I forget the other one he mentioned. Talking on the phone, Banderas said that he'd grown his hair out long but promised to cut it before they started shooting, and Rodriguez said "No no no, keep it long please!" >I feel like it's similar to Indiana Jones. > >Raiders of the Lost Ark = El Mariachi: A film that introduces the character but in the grand scheme of things, it stands on it's >on. > >Temple of Doom = Desperado: The franchise begins. This reads very oddly to folks who loved Raiders of the Lost Ark but couldn't give less of a shit about Temple of Doom or any of the other "Indiana Jones and the ______" movies that followed in the original's massive wake. To the larger point, Desperado is a hard direct sequel to El Mariachi. Aside from the geometrically bigger budget and star power recasting, it is absolutely a direct continuation of the original character's story. Half of the US abolished the practice. The other half refused to abolish it and was willing to literally go to war to keep slavery legal. And to this day many of their ancestors are still butt hurt that they lost and can't have n-word slaves in 2024. Yeah, there is still a lot of slavery in today's world. But you can't name one single country in the world where it's still legal. It's only committed by corrupt outlaws. Same as any other crime. So whatever you thought your point was there, pfft. Oh shit, kiwifarms servers must be down again. Welcome back Herr Eichmann. Well, we Democrats aren't mad. The only ones mad about it are MAGAt repuglicans. I don't blame them, I'd be mad too I thought my side had an easy win in the bag and then had to eat this much shit. XD It depends on the situation. In this case, I would have chosen her anyway so there's no need for me to be wringing my hands over anything. I think it's hilarious that the only people upset about it are MAGAts who thought they had an easy win against Biden. I've liked her for a long time. First time I ever became aware of her was probably 15 years ago when she was on Real Time With Bill Maher or some other political panel show, she must have been District Attorney at the time. She impressed me back then and I never forgot. I'm a lifelong lefty, but I'm not soft on crime, so I liked that she had a record as a prosecutor with a lot of victories. I was stoked when she ran for president herself years later, and I was disappointed she did so poorly. I would have been happy if she was the candidate in 2020 and I was glad she became VP. I'm glad she didn't kowtow to the brain dead pro Palestine crowd that doesn't know wtf they're talking about; she can't be 100% pro Israel, that would be political suicide for her. I'm totally with her that too many corporations are still taking advantage of covid lockdown price hikes and those greedy fucks need to be spanked and corrected. I don't have a list of bullet points. I've just known for a very long time that I'm generally aligned with her politically and I think she's sharp. We're perfectly happy with her as our candidate. If she wasn't a good choice for us, we'd be up in arms over what happened. We'd be protesting. But she's great, so we're fine with it. Sorry again that you're going to be so humiliated in November. Have fun attacking the US Capital again this January. If we lived in an alternate reality where it was Africans who sailed over to Europe and captured white people and took them back to Africa and sold them there as slaves, it would be the other way around. Then you could go around being a white power racist freak and nobody would be irked by it. Sound good? I'm not exactly the target audience, I'm old enough to (barely) remember when Disney's version of Robin Hood was in theaters. No matter how old I get, I never lose my love for animation. I thought Tangled and Frozen were fantastic, but being that I grew up with classic golden age arcade games and am still a big gamer today, no way am I going to vote for anything over Ralph. >Who gives a fuck about the gender of somebody or their race? Alt right MAGA incel types seem to care about those things A LOT.
