The movie flopped because Eddie Murphy's heart and mind was not in it.
The movie was superior to the 2nd one in all aspects, except the lack of improv from Eddie.
It's a very simple script that could've been written by a highschool kid, but it's all an early Eddie Murphy needed to create an enjoyable flick.
The soundtrack helps too.

Haven't seen the newer Predator movies since I'm not a big fan of the franchise.
RFK Jr is in a mental state where any good manipulator could fool him into parroting all kinds of bizarre conspiracy theories.
We can't rule anything out for certain.

There's way too much bitching about stoopid crew.
Covenant has severe problems, but the problem isn't the crew members' decision-making.
Stupid or smart, that's not what ruins an Alien movie.
The problem is that they introduce a bunch of couples and characters we couldn't care for because they would die before we even bothered to try to figure out who were together.
The new Ripley/Shaw was boring. I can't even remember her name despite watching the movie 3 times.
Then again, the movie prioritized David and his development. The rest were just fillers.
And they did succeed in making David's story interesting, but it's not enough to make a great Alien movie.
No we did not.
Hicks / the guy from T1 can't lead an action movie.
That's why T2 is superior.
As for Newt, she was good enough for one movie.
Anything more than that would've turned it into a family comedy adventure.
Bald Ripley is the only Ripley that was remotely hot.
The regular Sigourney Weaver has as much sex appeal as Whoopi Goldberg.

Yeah. A run-of-the-mill horror comedy with nothing that sets it apart from all the other ones that get berated by both critics and IMDB voters.

If by psychopaths, you mean violent people who engage in anti-social behavior, then sure.
But I think he's referring to people who can't feel empathy, but certainly know how to manipulate emotional people.
You'll find plenty of those in leader positions. No one knows how to handle pressure, stressful and difficult situations like a sociopath who'll gladly sacrifice a few innocent souls for the greater good.

The neutral term would be "Palestinian militant".
Palestinian militants these days are almost exclusively Hamas or Islamic Jihad. I'm pretty sure those mock militants weren't supposed to be honorable freedom fighters who just want their people freed.
They are supposed to represent the Palestinian militants or random lunatics who carry out attacks against Israeli civilians.
