I can definitely imagine Tate seeing one of her movies in the cinema with a date/friend, but alone?
A pretty woman like her being all by herself in Los Angeles, and later being revealed to the crowd as the star in the movie they just watched? That's just begging to get murdered/stalked.
I'm not white, but I get these impressions as well.
I don't think Peele hates white people, but he seems to include parts that are just there to appeal to white-hating black people, black race nationalists and BLM-supporters(F The Police scene).
His movies are very much black nationalistic and clearly it's working out for him since that's what's drawing the big crowds to the theaters these days as black people and "culturally black" people have become an increasingly important demographic group.
If you can't read then it's okay, just admit it.
I recognize a few of them and many of the references.
The references, homages, spoofs come at a great cost.
The end result isn't an enjoyable movie.
You're not alone, but it has nothing to do with age.
I'm a Tarantino fan. Reservoir Dogs, True Romance and Pulp Fiction are in my Top 15 favorite movies.
I like Jackie Brown, Inglorious Basterds, From Dusk Til Dawn, Natural Born Killers and first half of Death Proof. Hateful 8 and Django are enjoyable as well.
But Kill Bill is simply not compelling. I was 17 the first time I watched Vol 1. I didn't like it at all.
I'm 32 now and I gave it another try tonight. I disliked it even more. Vol 2 was even worse.
I like the over-the-top violence and ridiculous dialogues in Tarantino flicks, but he lost the sense of balance in this one.
The characters, the action scenes and the plot is too silly to care about. It's just pointless style over substance.
Fans of this movie tend to be immature self-described feminists and horny submissive males who are into CBT and dominatrix porn.
Completely agree on Kill Bill.
1. Pulp Fiction
2. Reservoir Dogs
3. True Romance (he didn't direct it, but I still count it as his, unlike NBK and FDTD)
4. Hateful Eight
5. Inglourious Basterds
7. Jackie Brown
8. Django Unchained
9. Death Proof (the first half was great, the 2nd set of girls were completely uninteresting to follow)

Kill Bill...Doesn't even deserve to be mentioned among the rest. I haven't bothered watching the sequel.
It was clearly him.
I thought I had accidentally switched to the directors commentary audio track.
No, that would be Kill Bill.
I've seen all of QT's films and I liked all of them, except Kill Bill, which I didn't like, and Kill Bill 2, which I didn't even bother watching.
Like I said, I liked her in the Captain Marvel movie.
But she was different here. I get that the character tends to have short hair in the comics, and it's supposed to show her transformation into the new Mar-Vel, but this felt like a new unlikable character with no history. The charm was gone, Brie Larson seemed to have not found comfort in the role yet.
I wasn't surprised to find out this movie was produced before the CM movie.
As for the cringes, well to start off there is the scene which I Youtube-linked.
The directors are trying too hard to appeal to feminists and there's too much fuss about the fact it's a female superhero.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a feminist and I'm of non-white background, but it's painfully awkward when you see movies or ads try really hard to appear "inclusive", "diverse", "anti-racist", "feministic".
I would have her sport the same look as in the CM movie, show some human qualities, like in her movie, and have more dialogues between her and Fury and the Rambeaus.
But again, it's obvious that this was produced before CM.
1 Ant-Man
2 Infinity War
3 Thor: Ragnarok
4 Iron-Man
5 Guardians of the Galaxy
6 Civil War
7 Ant-Man and the Wasp
8 Thor
9 Spiderman - Homecoming
10 Guardians of the Galaxy 2
11 Black Panther
12 Captain Marvel
13 The Incredible Hulk
14 Captain America - The First Avenger
15 End-Game
16 Iron-Man 2
17 Iron-Man 3
18 The Avengers
19 Captain America - The Winter Soldier
20 Doctor Strange
21 Thor - The Dark World
22 Age of Ultron
Ant-Man was the most relatable, funniest, least pretentious and it also had the only parent-child relationship I cared for.
The Avengers movies(the ones with all the superheroes) were a mess, apart from Infinity War which managed to put it all together in a great way.
Why would that make it dated?
The story is supposed to take place during the time the film was released, which was 1992.
You know you're watching a movie from 1992, so don't expect the characters to google names on their smartphones.
A dated, or out-dated movie, is a movie that's past it's best.
There are movies from the 2010s that takes place during the the 16th century where they use a guy on a horse to deliver messages. That doesn't mean they were dated from start.
He brought her home to live with them as his concubine.
So I just watched MIB 3 and there was also Agent O??
The writers seem forced to give him a love interest in every movie.
umm......he also flashed him in the first movie.
