"...pandering, overly woke drag." Man I hate that term! I really liked Stanis. Yeah, I know he sacrificed his daughter, but dude was a badass. He took his execution like a man. I've never really warmed to Brienne, but I'm not sure where she could have taken him for a trial. Where is the authority in Westeros at that time? King's Landing? That wouldn't have worked out. And I agree on Renly. He had no legit claim to the throne. Well, you make a movie about Mexican drug cartels with an alleged piece of eye candy in the lead, and then neuter it down to PG-13... Pass. Of course. I refuse to buy concessions at the theater due to the outrageous pricing. I from time to time take a small protein bar in to snack on. Not anything they would sell at the concession stand, anyway. I used to love getting nachos at the movies, covered in lots of hot cheese and jalapenos. Even at the high prices, I would do it. But then the theaters started giving you a bag of chips and a little pre-packaged cup of cheese that they would microwave. Even asking $6-$7, they couldn't be bothered to give you a big plate of chips and cover it in hot cheese anymore. Just pissed me off, and I stopped buying concessions altogether. And they can f.o. with their exorbitant prices they charge. Thanks for the replies. I hated seeing them at IMDB forums and was hoping there was a way not to see them here. It would be an appreciated feature if there is a user setting to not show them. I liked it. I went in not knowing anything about it, and didn't mind the blending of genre's. But I know most audiences hate that and won't accept something not being what they went in thinking it was. My biggest beef with the movie is Diane Lane and Anne Hathaway having fully clothed sex scenes. She was so gorgeous on "Secret Life Of The American Teenager", and the few things I saw her in after that. But when I recently watched "Look Away", I found it alarming how thin she had become. Her face looked so gaunt. I hope she puts on weight and recaptures that curvy, sensual look she used to have. My favorite was "Your mother sews socks in hell, Karras!" which is of course an alteration on my favorite line from The Exorcists where possessed Reagan says "Your mother sucks cocks in hell, Karras!" That's my favorite part of The Exorcist, so I got a kick out of Prom Night II referencing it. I presume "sews socks" is something used for a TV edit. Cracked me up. I wonder how many different versions of this there are. IMDB doesn't mention alternate cuts. I just watched it on Vudu where it was 97 minutes long. I have no idea where these "like 9 naked chicks" are, as I only saw two: - brief shot of Monica changing before going into the shower. You see a little side view of her ass, and briefly an obcured side view of her boob. A very fake looking implant boob, unfortunately. Anyone know how hold Beverly Hendry was when she made this? Almost looks like she could be pushing 30, but I'd guess at least 25. - Vicki (Wendy Lyon) walking around naked in the locker room/shower, 3-4 scenes. Vicki looks great. Lovely body, without the implant looking rack that Monica has. Just want to say, thank you Wendy Lyons! So with that being the only nudity in the 97 minute R cut, what else is there? I did notice that in the scene right after Mary Lou's spirit inhabits Vicki, she is standing naked, but the shot is framed above the breasts, so you don't see anything. Maybe there was some cutting of that scene? She was really beautiful, I thought. Especially when she re-appeared towards the end and got her crown. The closeup on her face with her blue eyes was very striking. I liked her hair. She was from 1957. Why should she have a modern (at the time) hair style?
Too bad it also featured the loathsome Peter Coyote.
Why is Peter Coyote "loathsome"? The scene was hilarious, and the horse whinny at the end after her line about why girls like horses was great. Like the gong when the Japanese chef comes on screen. I agree with you luke. The scene is great - pure fun! I love the cheesy lines, the way they toy with Sebastian and the way the camera lingers on them. More like a 70's movie. She actually did mention this on the James Corden show just last week. It was where I first heard of her in it. I watched the movie on Vudu last night and thought it was a riot. I was laughing through the whole thing. Here's the clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-YPqA1kQAo
