Is there a setting to do this? I really hate signature lines and wish I could just have them hidden. They appear as part of the posts, which can be confusing, and its very annoying seeing the same one over and over and over when someone posts in a thread multiple times. They just take up space, and are often longer than the actual content of the post itself.

There is no setting like that, but there is also no setting to automatically add a signature in the first place, so their use here is fairly limited. I don't expect that you will encounter many signatures that are longer than the post itself on this site.
shareThanks for the replies. I hated seeing them at IMDB forums and was hoping there was a way not to see them here. It would be an appreciated feature if there is a user setting to not show them.
