It's surreal to me that Bryan Fogel's 'Icarus' won Netflix it's first Oscar, a huge milestone for the company and streaming platforms, but they were too afraid of offending Saudi Arabia to acquire Fogel's next film, 'The Dissident'. I think ‘The Walking Dead’ peaked around Season 3 and ran for far too long. ‘Black Summer’ and ‘Kingdom’ are stronger for being shorter and tighter productions.
