šŸ˜‚ classic ā€˜Wilma, I promise you-whatever scum did this, not one man on this force will rest one minute until heā€™s behind barsā€¦Now, letā€™s grab a bite to eat.ā€™ Any of the Naked Gun films. Works a charm every time. The Queenā€™s Gambit Iā€™d go so far as to say that itā€™s not only the best King Arthur adaptation but also one of my favourite films full stop. I could write a long list of reasons for why that is but it takes me to another place and time with every watch. Itā€™s utterly magical. I think itā€™s a pretty common phenomenon so donā€™t worry. If it helps, Iā€™m a 29 year old woman and can be a little nervous around guys who I consider to be attractive. Itā€™s dependent upon their outward confidence though as well- I find it to be a little intimidating and will hold back a bit in conversation. Rightfully or wrongfully itā€™s a feeling of being out of someoneā€™s league but ultimately weā€™re all human and looks donā€™t last. Donā€™t they say that life begins at forty? Happy birthday šŸ„³ Yeah I barely remember a scene and just found it to be a complete drag. Iā€™m all for giving it another chance though one day. Yeah thatā€™s exactly what happened to me too. šŸ˜‚ My friends had a big impact on my way of thinking also (they taught me to lighten up a bit and accept that ā€˜sillyā€™ films can be just as meaningful as critically successful films). There are a handful of silly movies that Iā€™ve always had an affection for, so I try to give everything a chance now. Not denying that Iā€™ve seen some truly atrocious movies lately but I think itā€™s been worth it. Tea for One- Led Zeppelin. (So underrated damn it!) šŸ˜› I wasnā€™t a massive fan of Platoon, if you can call that a classic movie. I used to watch movies only highly recommended or reviewed positively, and I ended up enjoying about 90% of them. Since then Iā€™ve mellowed down a bit and give everything a chance now without prejudice. Everything can be a bit hit and miss nowadays but at least Iā€™m seeing films that would never have stood a chance before. I second this. I was hesitating to say my absolute favourite because tastes change, but itā€™s so high up there that it may as well be. Frogs by Alice in Chains šŸ˜‚ I guess that does help somewhat šŸ˜‚ thanks. Not to denounce Mr Pigott-Smith because he was a great actor, but some other posters here have much more interesting answers. And as for Rugby- itā€™s hard enough trying to explain to people that I wasnā€™t actually born on a Rugby pitch. Just did a quick DuckDuckGo search because I wasnā€™t born in a city and the only claim to fame I have is the actor Tim Pigott-Smith. šŸ˜› Yeah, itā€™s a shame because I feel that it does the best it can. I guess the only way around it is to share it with as many people as possible to keep it ā€˜aliveā€™. Oh my god you replied to me šŸ˜± I mean thank you ā˜ŗļø Itā€™s been my name on many a site and Iā€™ve grown quite attached now. Agreed completely. I used to watch this film a lot as a child and remember loving the story and humour. I never see it repeated on tv anymore and I think itā€™s a shame as I donā€™t see anything outwardly wrong with it or unappealing.
