Have you liked most of the movies you've ever seen?
Not me. I'd say 40% were good and 10% were great.

shareYes, I'm fairly choosey.
shareI think I've liked a lot of them. Very few of them I've felt that I wasted my time, and even fewer have I stopped. I think with streaming we have access to a lot more crap, but I usually do pick movies that I think I will like.
shareI used to watch movies only highly recommended or reviewed positively, and I ended up enjoying about 90% of them.
Since then I’ve mellowed down a bit and give everything a chance now without prejudice. Everything can be a bit hit and miss nowadays but at least I’m seeing films that would never have stood a chance before.
I used to do what you did as well. But then I started running out of movies to watch and I've been more open to them. But that opened a door of so much mediocrity.
shareYeah that’s exactly what happened to me too. 😂 My friends had a big impact on my way of thinking also (they taught me to lighten up a bit and accept that ‘silly’ films can be just as meaningful as critically successful films).
There are a handful of silly movies that I’ve always had an affection for, so I try to give everything a chance now. Not denying that I’ve seen some truly atrocious movies lately but I think it’s been worth it.
I am about the same, samoanjoes. Maybe just a little less though. I would have said 30%/10% but I have not actually done the math.
