Who talks about Homeward Bound anymore?

I revisited this film a few years ago and thought it was still quite fun and touching. Undoubtedly, there's a lot of nostalgia to the film for me since I grew up in the 90s and watched the film several times as a kid, but I think that even without that it's still a well-made family film.

However, while many Disney movies of yesteryear are still remembered and referenced, l can't remember the last time I saw someone mention Homeward Bound.

MY DAUGHTER AND I HAVE BOTH FILMS ON DVD...THEY ARE CLASSICS IN THIS HOUSE.

Agreed completely. I used to watch this film a lot as a child and remember loving the story and humour. I never see it repeated on tv anymore and I think it’s a shame as I don’t see anything outwardly wrong with it or unappealing.

Maybe Disney thinks it feels too dated being a live action film that is very 90s in its style. But if that's the case, that is unfortunate as it is a great movie.

You know if they remade it to today they'd use CGI and it would suck.

Yeah, it’s a shame because I feel that it does the best it can. I guess the only way around it is to share it with as many people as possible to keep it ‘alive’.
