I think I'm the only person who liked this lol. Like many of you though, I don't see it actually going anywhere, unfortunately imo. I actually find it very realistic. In real life, people get sick of one another all the time. Many romances, friendships, and familial relationships end due to differences and/or people changing. Taking all that into consideration, add in the fact that unlike us they live in a world riddled with zombies, violence, and fear, and without modern amenities that most all of them were used to before it kicked off - I could see relationships ending much more quickly and harshly than they do IRL. Plus, it's a new-ish angle. Not really since Shane has there been a real division in the ranks. Yeah, Rick and Daryl have to wrestle every now and again, but nothing major. I think it could be good, but doubt they'll do it. Not all out anyway.
I do fully agree that it will be absolutely ridiculous if Jesus is involved. Everything he has said up to this point has been the polar opposite of violence, and certainly any kind of coup against their own.
No, the one with Margaret, at the desk.
Patch on one eye, bangs over the other - it's a wonder he lived as long as he did.
A huge moment for the character. Until this point, every decision Eugene made was about self-preservation. This was his first decision that involved endangering himself for the betterment of others. He knew he might die when the shit hit the fan, and would have if not for Rosita(?) shooting the person who was about to kill him.
I will hand it to JDM. He is really upping his game. Early on, people were complaining about his antics, and his portrayal or Negan. But his acting has actually been quite good, especially lately. When Rick got him to drop his guard (by talking about Carl)...the tearful look in Negan's eyes was powerful. It showed he still had some humanity in there somewhere. Rick....is ruthless. He will use any tactic he needs to.
I said the exact same thing last night. While I never thought his acting was poor (felt like more of a direction thing to me), the scene where Rick got him to drop his guard by talking about Carl was incredible. It may have been the best scene of the season. He was going to give in to what Rick was saying. It was great acting, you could see it in his eyes. He was done. He was ready to settle. And then, Rick sliced him, causing him to go back on it, saying, "Carl didn't know a damn thing". So now, I don't know what will happen in the future. I didn't like it though. I felt like he should have either killed him, fully betraying Carl's wishes, which would then allow us to see Rick continue to deal with that inner conflict, or not slice him at all and actually try to make peace. I heard he was jailed in the comics, but the in-between thing seems kind of pointless. I don't think it was quite what Carl had in mind, so if you're not truly going to try and honor Carl and make peace, you might as well have killed him.
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman:
Holy Jesus! What is that? What the fuck is that? WHAT IS THAT, PRIVATE PYLE?
Private Gomer Pyle:
Sir, a jelly doughnut, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman:
A jelly doughnut?
I don't think she was telling him her entire story. They were just having a conversation about him being demanding and their relationship, after the doc had examined him. I think what's shown to us and the narration is not necessarily in her conversation with the doctor. The doctor is still unaware of the intentional poisoning; in fact, I took it as he was a part of their little game with each other. In the bathroom, Woodcock says something like, "Maybe you should call that boy doctor of yours..." Alma says, "Don't you trust me?" Reynolds replies, "I do, it's just..." After an awkward silence, they both burst out laughing.
lol Wasn't that the biggest crock of shit? And somehow managed to slam her temple into the handle of the sword...
I've seen and love both of them. Same style, different characters and setting. Ron Swanson is reason enough to watch it. Tom Haverford is great too.
I'm not sure on this one. I'll get my guy on it. Though my gut tells me his favorite is "Tokyo Drift".
That's odd. My source at the white house said the President would not have even seen the film if not for a miscommunication between he and his staff, with Trump initially thinking they had asked if he would like to see 1994's "Babewatch".
I did hear the part about The Rock though. So, that's confirmed.
Wow, I didn't even know they were still making this show. I gotta catch back up. Lahey was always my favorite character.
Agree with everyone. Also, just how "hot" is "hot enough" to be an investigator? lol I didn't know that was in the job requirements. I wonder if OP thought Kojak was "hot enough"? Maybe OP was more of a Magnum, P.I. person?
I didn't know he composed those theme songs, that's interesting. Plus, it has absolutely nothing to do with politics! We need more people like you. Thanks for sharing.
A vote I can actually get behind...
I'm not against him any more than any other politician. I can't stand seeing Hilary's face on here either. I just want this to be about film and television. I'm thinking about starting a site, maybe call it "TRUMPCHAT" if it's available, just so we can have somewhere to actually talk about film and television without being bombarded by things that are off topic. That's my point with all of this. I absolutely love football as well. I don't want to come here to talk about football or any other sport.
It's not about free speech lol. I don't care what you say or think, it's just ridiculous to me that you and others like you can't find a more proper medium to discuss political drivel, dominating a site that is clearly intended to be about film and television. There are places on the internet that are dedicated to politics; I don't go to those places and discuss film and television. It's not about denying your freedom of speech, it's about common sense, but I know that's a difficult concept for those who get caught up in believing that some distant millionaire actually represents or cares about them, their "cause", or their "team".
Also, have you ever considered why a film and television site would even have an "anything goes" type of feel to it, despite being called "MOVIECHAT"? It's all about the numbers. They know there are halfwits like you who think they're actually "fighting the good fight" or representing some kind of truth that will bicker back and forth, convince yourself that you "won", driving up the number of hits in the process. Just like with Trump, Hilary, Obama, Bush and whoever the fuck else, you're being used for numbers. And, sure, those of us discussing film and television are just numbers to the site as well, but at least we, and what we do, were the intention, hence the name MOVIECHAT. You are just lost. You're like a neighbor kid that wanders over to a family reunion next door. You don't belong there, but it makes the host look good in front of their family to let you stay and grab a plate. How does it feel to be a numbers whore who's standing on the wrong corner? THIS IS OUR TURF! Now run and cry to your orange pimp about it (or any topic that is actually worthwhile), and see how much he really cares.
I couldn't agree more. I don't know why they even allow political talk on this site. I wish it was just about film and television, and people would take their political bullshit to reddit or the youtube comments section.
Sources close to him tell me it's neither. He actually takes a splash of milk and a hefty load from Mitch McConnell. Good to the last drop.
Man, at 3 per day, how does he stay so full of shit?
That's what I was attributing it to. Such a shame. I find it kind of hard to understand, as well. Where did everyone else go when IMDB closed up shop? Did they just stop discussing film and television altogether, or is there some other site I'm unaware of?
