Sarah Treem's obsession with showing Noah urinating
I guess they didn't want non-Spanish speakers watching this show...

I didn't watch Season 1, but the metacritic score for Season 2 was so high that I decided to give it a shot. My wife and I both REALLY liked Season 2. It has a very good shot of making my Top 10 TV shows of 2018. And with so much good stuff to watch on TV nowadays, I think that's saying a lot!
I agree with hownos and exatera. Zeesha is making an enormous amount of assumptions in his interpretation of what happened. I mean, it could be that way, but you've basically described a "missing" episode of "The Sinner." Way too much stuff. As for Vera telling Harry what "happened," do you really think Vera's going to tell him that he murdered him? She doesn't tell him anything about the tea, but we see in her flashback that she's giving him tea.
I'm pretty sure they implied a few episodes ago that Vera poisoned him with tea.
I really liked Season 1, and Season 2 was a disappointment. It was a disappointment because it was way to many sub-plots involving deception, and it just became complicated and convoluted. And if you took a couple of weeks between episodes, it became extremely confusing to pick up again. I'm hoping they learn from the mistakes they made in Season 2, and that Season 3 will be an improvement.
I loved Season 1 and was very disappointed in Season 2. But because I liked Season 1 so much, I decided to give Season 3 a try. I'm so glad I did. After 3 episodes, it is already far better than Season 2. Unless the remaining shows are bad, this wins my award for "Comeback of the Year."
I haven't liked too many 2017 releases that were critically acclaimed, but I really liked this one very much. It just shows a slice of life in Orlando behind the "wholesomeness" of what they are trying to create there. Kind of reminds me when I stayed with a friend's family in the seamier side of Palm Springs, CA, which was totally unexpected.
But without trying to judge, if you gave it 40 minutes and didn't like it, then it probably didn't make sense to continue hanging in there.
Oh God. I just watched the first episode of this season, and I think I'm probably done. What a ridiculous plot/premise this show was last year, and now this year. It's no longer even remotely believable. And like you said, I thought this show was about protecting the U.S. against foreign terrorists and countries? Not this year, I guess.
