Yes, indeed they were. Cause I wanted to. Regardless...I still don't buy it. Yeah that was a very memorable scene. There were a lot of memorable scenes. Especially that scene where Billy kills Rifki. Yeah, but a massacre with a bow and arrow doesn't sound that realistic. Exactly Lol... whatever. I've watched many disturbing movies. Many memorable films. This was not one of them. That's your opinion. Correct. I can't believe you know what movie I'm talking about. Congrats! And thank you! Yep. Overkill...yes. But awesome. I have an old 1989 JVC sound system, with 15 speakers connected to my TV. The speakers are set up all throughout room. The whole surround sound theme has definitely amplified my viewing and entertainment experience. I like it. I think anyone who grew up in the 90s has watched Natural Born Killers. The film has such a 90s feel to it. And overall, is an epic unforgettable masterpiece of cinematic history. But the newer generations seem to know nothing about it. Which is sad really. Now that you mention it, Marcy living in the bus or whatever that was, is also somewhat similar to Harold and Maude. I've never read the book. So I wouldn't know. I just thought the whole idea was a bit silly though. But then again...I guess anything is possible. Maybe Kevin was just that good. I've judged a lot of films harshly, only to end up loving them after another viewing. Agreed. It's an amazing underrated film. A unique insight into addiction and heartbreak. Agreed. No doubt about it. Juno had to die. Sara reached her breaking point. I've started to view it in the same way as well. "The descent" - the descent into madness But then again, that's a lot of additional details to add into a plot for just being a metaphor. Oh okay, that makes sense. The problem is, they were trying to make perfect idyllic teenagers. But the Blue Ribbons couldn't be teenagers forever. Eventually they'd reach adulthood. So that's where the mind control program ultimately failed. It didn't logically take the long-term perspective into consideration. And I understand what you mean about Steve taking Gavin's gun. But still...such a shame. And I know what you mean by the editing. The weird and abrupt cuts in the editing process is what made this seem like a made for TV movie.
