On a separate note, it was sad to read the actor had passed away at 30 years old. :(
I agree. I never heard of Battle Royale until posters kept coming on the Hunger Games moviechat to complain it was a rip-off.
Let's just say I was much older than 6 and it was sad for me too. :) I wished they were able to save him and in the end scene you would see him living the dream in a beautiful ant farm.
I never read the books. However, I liked Morgan Freeman in this role.
Men have a right to use protection. :)
As a woman, I actually think it is unfair that a woman does have 100% control to either abort or keep it and the man 0%. Yes, I get the whole, it is her body argument. However, both men and women need to take more responsibility too. There was a funny ad that showed the price of condoms and a sign that indicated much cheaper than the cost of these ... it was a package of diapers
Disagree. I think Zahn's character was quirky .. it would be hard to see him and Fox as friends.
She is a strawberry blonde so I could see people considering her both.
I am watching it again and I concur with you. I would rate it a 9.
I like this definition: Horns are an animal's weapon, so it follows that as a symbol they function as representing strength and aggressiveness. They are also the power and dignity of the divinity, and horned gods usually represent warriors and lords of ANIMALS. Horns represent salvation and immortality as well, as the horn is extremely durable.
We have also heard a lot "children belong with their mother". Gender too should not play a role.
Well stated SaphfireRose!
I have not seen the movie in years; I got 20.
I am not sure if you had meant that as a joke? Corey did not play Carlisle.
Have you ever seen those dog rescuers? They approach and pet without any protection on their hands animals that are aggressive, sick, etc. I love dogs but I would be wearing some type of protection trying to leash a stray dog.
From a woman's perspective I think Carrie. Adele was just a child in my opinion.
Funny that you said that. That is the FIRST thing I thought of when I recalled the old movie
Not sure; I never thought she killed herself. I took it that she may have gave up on life being depressed. Sometimes people stop eating, sleeping, caring when they go through major depressions and it takes a toll on their body. When Gilly made the comment, I think she meant that their Mom had two daughters that needed her and even though she was in pain due to the loss of her husband she needed to pick herself up for their sake.
Tanner was a hoot; one of my favorite characters.
Good perspective. Vic did an excellent job with the role. I grew up in that time and softball was very political. Some of the teams were stacked. There were many times that the coaches were very explosive and had verbal fights. It was funny to see that "us kids" were more sportsman like. Maybe because we had friends on all the other teams.
In an interview she stated that she had 3 months of heavy duty pitching lessons.
