I agree. This was an overlooked movie. I haven't seen it in a few years and I just decided to watch it now. It is free on IMDb.
I found the scene funny.
Amy was a mean, brat. Even Patrick and her brother remarked how she didn't like Patrick for two years. She probably had a history of being mean to outsiders until she got to know them. She was not a likeable character but there were a few scenes where she did show a softer side.
Exactly. Amy was just trying to screw around with Meredith. It had zero to do with being racist.
What PERFECT country are you from?
I know this is an old post, however, sorry that you had to experience that with your step-dad.
I think he was one of the best actors in this movie. He looked more Italian than James Caan ...who I loved in the role of Sonny
From what I remember he was a glutton when it came to his favorite pastries. She took just a little bite. However, she knew he would eat the entire box
Agreed. At least with his sister, Talia, she could act. Plus I didn't like the who story between her having a relationship with her first cousin. Weak writing. I love GF 1 & 2. The storylines on GF3 was weak. Plus seriously they should have paid more $$ and signed up Robert Duvall.
It is not a 10, however, I thought it was a good movie. I don't recall any movie that Denzel gives a bad performance.
I know this is an old post, however, I am watching it on Amazon Prime.
Agreed that was her prime, however, she is still a beauty at 63.
I hate football and other than watching the super bowl I never watch it. However, I enjoyed the movie. In particular the performance of Chadwick Boseman and the craziness of the constant changing of the picks at the end.
Check him out in Frequency with Dennis Quaid. You may like that movie too.
Agreed. Typically tomboys dress and act like a boy. One of her friends, definitely looked like a tomboy. Gidget wore dresses and had a girl haircut.
I think she was adorable in this movie and did not find her voice annoying.
Agreed. I thought their little dance scene was so adorable. They were so in sync during the entire movie.
I thought she removed the necklace so that her girlfriend would not know about it.
I am technically not a baby boomer ... but close. I would definitely put this in my top 10 scary movies list. I am curious what are in your top 5?
IMO the Exorcist is still scarier. Even the music score still gives me chills. Although some scenes like head spinning around is now laughable.
