andrew garcia was miscast
he looked too mexican
shareHe's actually Cuban. Thank you for showing your misperception.
shareum what does that have to do with whether he looked too Mexican to be believable as a Sicilian?
shareum the fact that Mexico and Cuba are two different countries.
shareum last time I checked Cuba and Italy were two different countries so yeah he was miscast and he did look too Mexican.

I guess I'll have to elaborate even more for you to comprehend your mistake. You meant to say, "he looked too Cuban."
I thought he looked fine, but whatever.
*Facepalm*
I meant what I said. he looked way more Mexican than Italian!
To be fair Cubans and Mexicans look similar and I'm Latin we have similar looks I don't find that particularly offensive is like people from the USA, Canadians, and British I don't find much difference between you people you all look gringos to me.
shareNah, I disagree. I think Garcia was a great choice for Vincent Mancini.
shareHe looks more Italian than James Caan.
shareOr Marlon Brando for that matter.
shareNot really, some italians are blonde. They rarely look spanish like Andi Garcia, though
shareGarcia can pass as either Italian or Spanish, but he had a very Southern Italian look actually.
shareI'm Italian and was blonde as a child. As I aged my hair turned brown, but my hair was very light as a child. I also had an uncle who looked very much like Garcia, so I don't think he was miscast at all. Italians are varied in looks.
shareI think he was one of the best actors in this movie. He looked more Italian than James Caan ...who I loved in the role of Sonny
shareits cultural appropriation..cancel him
shareI think he fit the part fine.
shareI thought that too when it was first announced. Not because of his looks, I just didn't think he was right for the role.
I was wrong. His performance turned out to be the best thing about Part III.
