LOL............... In my best Chris Farley voice "I'M SUCH AN IDIOT!" as he tugs out his hair.. Miss that guy on screen. Nice to meet you. I usually just lurk and post if I've had a few. I now see the error of my ways. All of you are going in order adding to the list. I gotcha. Had a few screwdrivers tonight. Gonna pour another. I have DVR'd Path's of Glory three times in the past three years and always let it slide aside. I should get around to seeing it shouldn't I? I loved Gallipoli. I was young when I saw it. Probably haven't seen it in over 25 years. Maybe I'll DVR that when it comes along again. That running scene to get the message through, had me riveted to the screen as a young lad. I loved that whole movie. The French Connection , probably my favorite, he's chasing a freaking train. Bullitt Batman Begins The Road Warrior Fury Road Stagecoach Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid Ben Hur 1925 , HORSE POWER Raiders of the Lost Ark The Great Escape Fast and the Furious Smokey and the Bandit The Blues Brothers some not high speed or motorized, yet love 'em. those all clicked into my head on your question. Had a few drinks tonight. Worst chase scene The Last Jedi Here's some K-Y for you. But the key here is, "KIDS WILL LOVE IT" will your KID watch it again. You are old and forgotten, your kid is the future. It's how the world works, us older people have no say. The young drive the Hollywood fuel. We just say stay off my lawn and let me have a good bowel movement the next day. Enjoy your day It did well in the end. Thanks for your input. You said EXCELLENT, then you downgrade to GOOD. and then you say an above average musical and a great film. so an above average musical is classified as great film. why ain't all the studios making above average musicals? just trying to get some levity into the conversation. This movie is not excellent or great and it probably hovers near good or above average. I'll never see it so I won't know. All I do know is that I grew up in the 80's and there was a movie that was promoted to "It's better than Cats", no shit, all of us just bust out laughing. We had no clue what "Cats" was. Having people walk out of a movie theater saying "it's better than Cats" was so funny. Take care I watched the entire movie in my home in one sitting on a very big screened tv, popcorn and all. This movie did not need a very big screen to view. It felt it like a movie. Not like a tv series. If it's a solid movie people will watch entirely through, if not people will dismiss it. If it's solid no way am I gonna turn away unless I have to. It ain't Netflix that is the problem, it's the viewers. Ifyou get me. The viewers that can't stand not checking their i-phones every minute. Good day Jeepster ends with "Don't get me wrong I like this movie, it's nonsense, but enjoyable nonsense but all of that is over the top total bullshit. You come away from this believing any of this, then YOU belong in a psych ward for sure." Fair enough I say.................. So speaking of psych ward people. Murdoch after leaving psych ward and seeing his chopper, hangs from a rotor "You spin me round right baby right round" Face "WHO IS THIS GUY?" That scene is the greatest 10 seconds in movie history!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a fun movie. No it's not good. It's a nostalgia movie that some people think is ok, it's not. Pretty bad to be honest. It really is a dumb movie never to be seen more than once. 1 Soda jerk's were the bomb. His marquee says "Heartbreaking Scene" don't click on it if you don't want the details. What did you think you were clicking into? How is Joe wrong, it was a horrible scene, laughable, 80 year old trying not to fall over while giving a few kicks. I just recently saw Dolemite and that first action scene of Eddie doing his karate behind the car was of better quality action and that was meant to be hilarious. Not bad, not great, just a somewhat decent movie. 6/10. No brain needed. It is FUN if you shut off your brain. Some of the stunts that happen are so stupid. I just ate my lunch and went with it. If any thought is involved it goes down to a 2/10. So I just say, let your brain melt like cheese and watch this movie, you might enjoy it. I don't understand why movie companies just want to shove silly stories down our throats and tell us to consume it. Terminator was a good run, this nonsense of late is dumb. I saw your post below and I agree, the first four have value. The fourth is a stretch but works, the third has moments, the first two are great. Terminator was a great ORIGINAL movie Hollywood, now move on to the next great ORIGINAL movie.... oh wait, they can't. I sob. Thank you very much for the link. I ended up watching a few of his videos and I subscribed to him. They are making FOUR sequels. Good luck with that. when? You wanna go? You wanna go bro? Whoa! Let's Go! Whooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
