Anyone that let that shit go lightly in 2020 is a mother fucker. All democrat cities are shit-holes. Chicago being the biggest. Yet, so may idiots think it's all good. Watch these idiots embrace CRT. Watch them embrace inflation. Watch them embrace hatred spewed by MSM. I do not know ONE racist yet MSM tells me all white men are. Why are white chicks left off the hook? ........................ Because they can access the white man's dollars.
Chicago, the south side was a glorious place back in the day, NOW it is a shit-hole of the planet, BROUGHT TO YOU BY DEMOCRAT RULE. Same with every other democrat run city. Democrats owned the black people and have never helped them prosper, yet I'm the racist. I'd help any black man get his car started in zero degree weather here in Chicago, a democrat would a make him/her vote for them before helping.
Have a great day
Steel mills were the shit back then it Pennsylvania. Ampipe was a steel town.
October Sky was coal.
I think Norma Rae was textile. Unsure of that one, but I think that's correct.
Have a wonderful day

"WHERE DID MY GOD COME FROM?"
Enjoy your day
Otter said, "And I won't hear a word against Rickman's hammy performance! FYI this was the first film that really got him noticed by American audiences, his career took off after this."
Ummm, there's this little movie called Die Hard (1988) that made him a star! Hans Gruber is one of the ultimate badies in movie history!
Alan Rickman is one of my favorites.
Enjoy your day
It was stated that it was 800 years off, if at all, Dusan even says they'll probably all go mad down there before anything happens up here.
Enjoy your day
LOL, the dems need to move to the middle. Dems are evil beyond satan itself.
90 years of holding the south side of Chicago hostage them Dems have done. ALWAYS blaming everyone else.
The DEMS have kept the south side in hostage for votes. and it is a complete sh*th8le. Murder capital of the world. Mayor doesn't care if they burn it down. BLAME TRUMP is her clamor!..... Democrats are a disgrace and are evil. They tell the blacks, we'll help you and DO NOTHING!
Believe what you will, I disagree based on true Chicago happenings.
Have a great day
From The 'Burbs, a favorite movie of mine.
"Hey Mrs. Rumsfield, no tan lines this morning. Looks nice."
I liked it as well and HIGHLY recommend to anyone that has not seen it.
You are correct about the cast!
Ralph Bellamy was fantastic in this. It took forever to finally hit me that he was the same guy that played Randolph Duke in Trading Places. What a long career he had in Hollywood.
The movie itself is a bit foggy to me, as I haven't seen it for a long time. I try not to over watch my favs.
Some scenes I liked, were the initial meeting of Grant and Bellamy's characters. Basically any exchanges they had throughout. And when Irene goes to meet Grants' fiance's family and she acts drunk and accuses of someone of stealing her purse. And then she proceeds to sing like that lounge girl that had just heard sing at the night club.
Oh and when, I think it's Irene's vocal coach, the dog steals his hat and craziness ensues.
I sometimes get this movie mixed up with My Favorite Wife. Especially the endings. I think they are very similar if I recall.
Hopefully they'll come back around to TCM and I can DVR them.
Thanks for reminding my about a fantastic movie.
Enjoy your evening!
No kidding.
The OP also says Powell's character could just close his account and take the dough. Problem is there wasn't anything left after he received the $5k loan. He actually OWED almost $3k.
I remember seeing a Utube video showing Ritt helping out injured "peaceful protesters" and stopping "peaceful protesters" from ramming a set on fire garbage bin into a gas station, I think it was a gas station... That's when they turned on him, when he stopped that big garbage bin from burning up a place of business.
I also remember reading of one of the guys that was hit with a bullet, saying he should have taken Ritt out earlier.
Kind of fuzzy, because it was months ago, however I think what I posted is correct.
Enjoy your night.
Thanks for the info on the YouTube download. That restoration is wonderful. I watched it tonight on Svengoolie on MeTV and it was not of high quality. Anyone wanting to watch this, watch it on the YouTube. denny tango channel.
Enjoy your day.
Where the heck does A&W still exist? I used to eat them a lot when they were in Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois. LOVED THAT PLACE!
You don't have to answer, I'll google it.
A&W was way better than the McD, B King and such options in my opinion.
The best option ever in fast food was the Wendy's SUPER BAR!
It is a FANTASTIC film that should be shown to EVERY young child on the planet, to show them that no matter who the F you are, if you study it, and love it and learn it, you can do it!
