yes and yes
Pores?
Creepshow (1982), The Crate segment.
Who will cast her?
E might to get another reality show.
This chick is not a movie star, never has been, never will.
By the way shit movies pay shit money. People/actors join a shit movie to pay the bills not get rich.
NO, just NO. Meghan CANNOT get EIGHT figures to star in a movie. When has she ever starred in a movie?
Now you think studios are gonna throw $10,000,000+ to her?
No way No how.
1946 The Best Years of our Lives, this is a must see, but only if you get a high quality product. DO NOT watch on lesser quality and amazingly that gal Teresa Wright just happens to be in this, as does the marvelous Myrna Loy.
1947 for a laugh, The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer. Myrna Loy and Cary Grant's scene on the dance floor has got to be seen by anyone that loves it when they just keep going instead of yelling cut!... The Farmer's Daughter, nothing with war, maybe some romance. It's good.
1948 good year for movies.
1949 The Heiress, Olivia De Havilland, enough said, you find a movie with her, give it a shot.
I lost interest the last two years, just got busy...
BUT IF YOU WANT TO SEE WHAT IS IN UNDER THE RADAR GREAT ROMANCE/WAR MOVIE SEE
Seventh Heaven from 1937. It's on YT along with the 1927 silent movie. The 1937 shows it being 98 minutes long, IMDB says 102 minutes, might be missing 4 minutes, I don't know, it's the version I saw and it's delightful.
Hope some of these help you out. There truly are some great movies from the 30's and 40's.
I'll chime in here. Not sure if you want a combine of romance and war or war alone or romance alone or the combo. I'm just gonna try and cherry pick a few I like. There's tons out there.
1931 1940 Waterloo Bridge . I like the 1931 better, Mae Clarke was such a natural, if you wanna see good acting see every movie she's ever been in. It's based on WWI romance. 1931 can be found through dailymotion. 1940 didn't pop up for me.... side note see Night World 1932, it's where I first saw Mae, she's outstanding in it and you'll definitely get a feel for 1930's lingo. It's on YT right now.
1941 Sergeant York. Gary Cooper. YT.
1942 Mrs. Miniver and Then after seeing how awesome Teresa Wright is in that, You have to see The Lou Gehrig Story. Same year of release. Lou Gehrig Story is a movie that has my heart because of how excellent Wright and Cooper were. I'll warn you now, if you see Teresa Wright In Lou Gehrig Story you'll fall in love, just Fantastic!!!!! One of my 10 favorite movies of all time!
1943 A Guy Named Joe, Irenne Dunne and Spencer Tracy. Spielberg remade A Guy Named Joe into Always, with Dreyfuss and Hunter. Mr. Lucky, it's a romance set at the opening of WWII, Cary Grant and Laraine Day. NOW SEE THIS AS WELL, A Shadow of a Doubt, once again Teresa Wright. See it NOW! It's not romance or war, just see it. It's on YT and Starz right now.
1944 Noir film Double Indemnity. Just a great film. Memphis Belle; The Story of a Flying Fortress, a documentary, YT, C-Span. National Velvet, nothing to do with war of romance, see it.
1945 They Were Expendable, John Wayne, good quality on dailymotion........... but don't miss State Fair, a great flick. YT.
Long Gone is a masterful baseball movie. Truly a movie any baseball fan should see.
Bishop64 is out there being a pompous a$$ on the internet tonight I'd wager.
Bring back historical adventure movies that erase a historical person and place a fictional woman in his place, is that what you're saying? From what I understand of the story the real Henry Coxwell was the hero and HE gets omitted? Give me a freaking break.
Enjoy your day
Body Snatchers is awesome, It Came From Another World not so much. There was a higher tension in Body. This is a good B-movie, it just didn't hit with me to be any better.
kristen is awesome. U think Anna Kendrick would have brought the same money? That chick is doing frito's and hotel booking commercials. Yeah she would have led a $1 billion franchise.
Bjorn Borg " tennis is a sport"
Proof.
Like you know how Hollywood deals go down, come on dude.
Kristen was the face of a billion dollar franchise, of course she got her shot. You'd be an idiot not to see if she could bring in another project.
a question, does syfy cut content for commercials? I watched Decades and the showed the credits in slow speed, so i assume they showed the entire show. Nowadays you see the fast forward credits stuff smashed into the next episode on almost every channel. More commercials more money. I was just wondering if the syfy played full episodes.
I watched TZ for the first time last night, Will the real Martian Please Stand Up and The Hitchhicker. I'm sold. Recorded 30 of 'em. I'll watch 'em in due time.
It's interesting that the early 80's movie which I have seen is basically old tv episodes. 20,000 feet, The kid that controls everything and Kick the can... Interested in seeing those.
Seems like a show that was ahead of its time.
Happy New Year
Did you make it to the end?
Just so you know. Decades TV also holds a marathon, same time as SyFy. Might be able to find episodes there that Sy doesn't air.
That was the very first episode I ever watched and it was last night, LOVED IT. I had never seen a Twilight Zone episode EVER, I saw the movie way back when as a young kid on VHS, Dan Akroyd "You wanna see something really scary?"
So I decided I'd DVR at random about 30 of them, couldn't do them all or I'd delete things I want to keep.
I see in the descriptions that a few episodes actually are the movie basically. The kid that can do whatever, the kick the can, terror at 20,000... Will be interesting to view those.
The other one I watched was The Hitchhiker, solid. Inger Stevens I recognized right away, such a beauty.
These had to be way ahead of the times for a tv show.
I enjoy your "c'mon bruh" but "Band" WASN'T a movie.
Tell me something, you a tennis fan? Who you like in the Australian Open?
Enjoy your day
