I liked the first better. The moment Arnie realizes something, you know that moment in the mud, the movie was a blast. For a young kid anyway, that last half was pretty awesome. It was something I hadn't seen before. As for 2, Danny Glover, Ruben Blades, Maria Conchita Alonso, Gary Busey, Bill Paxton, Adam Baldwin and Morton Downey Jr., what a great cast. I don't think the movie's all that good, yet it ain't bad and yes I love the urban setting. Why get an endorsement from that site? IMDb shat on all of the posters, screw them. I'll have to disagree and say Gremlins is not cult. It's been very popular since it opened in 1984. The movie made $150M. I wouldn't consider that "cult" at all. I agree with the "classic" part. Gremlins is a classic movie. I played Kojak as a kid with my cousins back in the day. Truly great times. First time I remember seeing her was singing "Cool Rider" in Grease 2. The part where she mounts the ladder is imprinted in my brain. That movie played non-stop the first summer we got cable TV. "shift" love it. A term I'd not heard before, yet instantly understood. This movie is so good, I wish it had been longer. That's hilarious! Mine's not a line. It's Dalton standing against the pillar or wall during the bar fight the first night he arrives at the Double Duece. When he ducks out of the way from the flying bottle that smashes behind him, just makes me laugh. It looks so funny. "Why didn't I concur?" Many have stated what I believe as Well, yet lest not forget Hoodoo Gurus. What is you want from me? There isn't much I will not do. This post is so off of what you stated, yet I agree a movie about the rise and fall of Atari would be cool. Heck why not Intellivison and Colecovision as well. E.T. games found in the landfill, waves hand and says "we aren't the games you're looking for."
