I liked the first better. The moment Arnie realizes something, you know that moment in the mud, the movie was a blast. For a young kid anyway, that last half was pretty awesome. It was something I hadn't seen before. As for 2, Danny Glover, Ruben Blades, Maria Conchita Alonso, Gary Busey, Bill Paxton, Adam Baldwin and Morton Downey Jr., what a great cast. I don't think the movie's all that good, yet it ain't bad and yes I love the urban setting.

I'll have to disagree and say Gremlins is not cult. It's been very popular since it opened in 1984. The movie made $150M. I wouldn't consider that "cult" at all. I agree with the "classic" part. Gremlins is a classic movie.

First time I remember seeing her was singing "Cool Rider" in Grease 2. The part where she mounts the ladder is imprinted in my brain. That movie played non-stop the first summer we got cable TV.

If you have Movies! channel, dvr "The Blob" tomorrow morning. 10am central(my time). Not sure if they have cut anything out, but that's a good one. Also if you do have that channel it's playing Frankenstein and Dracula movies all day Halloween. How about "The Others" from 2001 with Nicole Kidman. I thought it a nice eerie tale. Sleepy Hollow 1999. even Disney's "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" although animated it's still awesome. free on internet sites. Space Invaders Yes! I lost many hours of beat-off time to playing Space Invaders. And what the heck did I just find out? Blows my mind. Sunnyvale, Ca is the home to Atari... That's the place where ProtoVision was from War Games. "ProtoVision I have you now" he states. F me I'm going to go masturbate, to Princess Daphne from Dragon's Lair, while playing Pong, Space Invaders and Asteroids. Wish me luck. This post is so off of what you stated, yet I agree a movie about the rise and fall of Atari would be cool. Heck why not Intellivison and Colecovision as well. E.T. games found in the landfill, waves hand and says "we aren't the games you're looking for."
