I think it's a hard call to make. .

I like this one almost as much as the first. Plus it has that cool scene at the end where it shows the secret layer of the predators where they not only killed aliens but a T-Rex as well.

Pred 2 holds up surprisingly well. Honestly some of the acting in Pred 1 is so bad I only bothered to see it once. Therefore, I'm going with Pred 2.

For a long time I would have put this one on top for sure. Over time I've changed my tune, but this is still right up there behind 1. Absolutely underrated at 6.3
shareI liked the first better. The moment Arnie realizes something, you know that moment in the mud, the movie was a blast. For a young kid anyway, that last half was pretty awesome. It was something I hadn't seen before.
As for 2, Danny Glover, Ruben Blades, Maria Conchita Alonso, Gary Busey, Bill Paxton, Adam Baldwin and Morton Downey Jr., what a great cast. I don't think the movie's all that good, yet it ain't bad and yes I love the urban setting.
Arnold did say in his book that Predator would have been a much bigger franchise if they would have had a bigger leading actor for #2. He's right about that but I liked Glover, he made it fun.

And it was such a departure from the cliche action icon like Arnie in Part 1
original choice for mike harrigans was patrick swayze. i think he would have been very choice in this film!
