In retrospect, I think that it's the direct connection to the Alien timeline leading to a number of problems. It uses certain elements, but takes a different direction, is tonally different and leaves inconsistencies with prior movies.
I like both, the Alien movies and Prometheus, for different reasons. I see what Prometheus is trying to do, even if it sometimes fails. Expecting another Alien sequel here would probably lead to disappointment and confusion. Alien: Covenant only makes it worse.

By tectonic reasoning, Europe and Asia are separate plates - as well as North & South America. Anyway, plates are not defining continents or we'd have a lot more to count.

If you want to be exact: America is the name of the continent in regions of the world where North&South America are tought as one continent.
Only people from the USA frequently call their country America - but it's up to them to rename their country if they want others to follow.
America is the name of two continents (or just one, depends on where you went to school. it's one continuous land mass anyway) and Canada is on one of them.
There is no country called America.
But Canada is only in one of the Americas, the northern one - meaning singular.
They have no southern colonies.
Watching inappropriate content with your child happens, you can't always check everything. It doesn't make you a terrible parent.
But tbh, being proud of it kinda does.

Posting on social media in 2021 must feel like still having a Tamagotchi.
No Barney here, but maybe worse. After three seasons of "Miraculous" during winter, I felt how my brain was melting ... but it's what she likes (she's 7 now). Finally, the snow's gone and sitting inside is over.
Usually, she's not that much into watching TV anyway - we currently have dozens of baby goats, puppies and a foal in the neighborhood - all of course far more interesting.
