In retrospect, I think that it's the direct connection to the Alien timeline leading to a number of problems. It uses certain elements, but takes a different direction, is tonally different and leaves inconsistencies with prior movies. I like both, the Alien movies and Prometheus, for different reasons. I see what Prometheus is trying to do, even if it sometimes fails. Expecting another Alien sequel here would probably lead to disappointment and confusion. Alien: Covenant only makes it worse. you've been told the conditions for a civilized discussion. instead, you opted to continue with ad hominem bs. doesn't matter if you couldn't comply or you just didn't want to -> welcome to the ignore list. I'm here to practice my fourth living foreign language, not as your aggression therapist. It was just one example - technically, no one is absolutely right or wrong in this question. It's pretty ignorant to call everyone else wrong on something not clearly defined. I've even seen "Eurasafrica" somewhere. By tectonic reasoning, Europe and Asia are separate plates - as well as North & South America. Anyway, plates are not defining continents or we'd have a lot more to count. That would be really irresponsible. Like I've said here twice, sometimes, an inappropriate movie may slip through. Nobody is that perfect. He called himself a terrible parent and I only agreed in the bragging part of it. It's not like I came here to lecture him, please read my first posts here. He made it a question of parenting - not me. On the other hand, he calls me a troll just because I (try to) follow age recommendations when watching movies with my kids. I've explained there that it depends where you went to school. For example, Brazilian school books count Eurasia as one. Others only count one American continent. Yes, Canadians are North Americans - and for those who count only one American continent, the North can be omitted. Very few. I only remember one of the later Brosnan Bond movies. If it's only about installing a few specific apps, you could export the apk file on your laptop and "adb install" it on the phone via cable - as long as the apps don't check again for themselves at runtime. Nah come on, if you want to re-watch movies not suitable for their age, do it in the evenings when they're asleep. A few weeks ago, I've watched "Jurassic Park" together with mine and they had nightmares. It can happen, but it's surely nothing to brag about. what a grown up reaction. You know that it's wrong, I'm not pointing out anything new to you. So let's please keep personal attacks to a minimum, I'm just the messenger. It's not about language, it's a name. Show me a language where America is not called America. If you want to be exact: America is the name of the continent in regions of the world where North&South America are tought as one continent. Only people from the USA frequently call their country America - but it's up to them to rename their country if they want others to follow. America is the name of two continents (or just one, depends on where you went to school. it's one continuous land mass anyway) and Canada is on one of them. There is no country called America. But Canada is only in one of the Americas, the northern one - meaning singular. They have no southern colonies. Watching inappropriate content with your child happens, you can't always check everything. It doesn't make you a terrible parent. But tbh, being proud of it kinda does. According to old alpine legends, animals are able to speak on 4 days a year - the "raunächte". There's only one main drawback: If you actually hear them speaking, you're already dead. Nick Nolte - Gary Busey
Canada pretending to be America is also annoying.
Canada is in America, should they pretend to be African or European instead?
Enjoy their spying and watch what you post on social media.
Posting on social media in 2021 must feel like still having a Tamagotchi. No Barney here, but maybe worse. After three seasons of "Miraculous" during winter, I felt how my brain was melting ... but it's what she likes (she's 7 now). Finally, the snow's gone and sitting inside is over. Usually, she's not that much into watching TV anyway - we currently have dozens of baby goats, puppies and a foal in the neighborhood - all of course far more interesting. Only 2 of all Star Wars movies have an age rating below FSK12.
