I love this movie to death, but davodikum asked all the right questions/issues I have with the movie too.
They showed a short scene around 2h mark where the girls were shown lying on the floor and then they simply ran outside the door. Anna was captured at the doorstep and Joy escaped.
Well, the guy was a hunter, therefore I don't think he had any empathy in him.
What puzzles me a bit is that they were already digging the premise before he was found. Given the circumstances and the magnitude of the crime, you'd expect them to at least quickly sweep the area before starting to dig and that alone would make it fairly easy to find him.
Where I come from, you just don't fall in love with a guy who ate your leg, I don't care how charming he is.
Another cliché that I hate is when they incapacitate the bad guy and instead of finishing him off, they run and give him a chance to recover.

Cracks me up every time
Can't remember when was the last time I was this surprised with a movie (pleasantly). I went in expecting not much, but I was actually entertained.
Of course, it's obvious. And the train coming at them is a metaphor for life coming at you and there's no way to escape it. Unless you jump away from it at the last moment.
She wasn't told about it, she saw him going backwards.
"The movie isn't about the hiding of the park, we are being brought in during a much later stage."
It would, actually, make for an interesting prequel(s). The research, trials and errors, discovery, brainstorming, theories, building of the park, logistics, the sheer magnitude of the whole thing..
This is just my opinion, but from my POV it will never be just another derogatory term. I live in a country where there are only a few black people and I've heard someone say it as an insult once in my lifetime. But there's a strong, uncomfortable gut feeling that goes along with it that makes me hard just to write it here... I don't know any other word that has the same feel.
It's not just another insult, there's centuries of suffering going hand by hand with the word that makes it different.. It's hard to put it in words.
Even some top actors said they had a hard time bringing themself to use the word (Leo DiCaprio in Django e.g.).
The n word is pretty much the worst word out there.. Saying "Fuck" is a cute, fluffy bunny in comparison.
Trolls like you are the reason we don't have IMDb message board anymore.
I am an adult and I like most of Pixar's movies, but this one was mostly boring and irritating at the moments, with an occasional good joke for adults. It felt more of a kids movie than any other Pixar movie I saw. Stunning visually though.
The opening post is very bad (and disturbing) trolling.
Well, that hurt. Does that mean we're not best friends anymore?
He/she is right, you need help. Your way of communication is a disgrace to the human race.
My point exactly.
Another vote for annoying. I didn't mind the voice, but I can't stand his facial expressions.
