Fanboys maaaybe? I only wish the soundtrack wasn't so annoying. I don't have an itch. I am referring to the very people you're talking about. The twist was that there was no twist in Shyamalan's movie! In my country we have a saying (loosely translated) "Everyone is scratching where they have an itch". - We have the best views, the most advanced security systems, but you know what these people are really buying? - White neighbors? It's a good movie, but it's not that good as other comedies that are being released in the last decade or two are so bad. Good points. Sometimes, if I am unsure if I want to see the movie, I check the trailer for the general feel of the movie. They are (usually) designed to appeal to the target audience and tells enough about the movie for me to decide if I want to see it or not. There will always be exceptions, of course, but I'd say they served their purpose more often than not. "...returning her at that point just seemed kind of unnecessary." Yeah, all that paperwork... "This grenade is just part of my life now?" "These people are sick." "If you humanize yourself to them, they let you live." *Pirate shakes his head* "Marty lets Doc use the sleep inducer on Jennifer" Not like he had any time to react.. Yeah, they did that a lot. Which doesn't mean we can't discuss it. In part II, they could've easily get the almanac any other day, it didn't have to be the same day he received it. Which brings me to one more thing, it would make more sense for the old Biff to bring him the almanac on or around his 18th birthday, so he could use it immediately. This way it was in danger of getting lost or stolen until he was old enough to gamble. That scene where he "casually" lets Evan buy his drink, like it's expected, tells a lot about him. You can tell it's a routine move for him. Reminds me of a joke we have, about three guys ordering different types of coffee, each with different, specific details and the waiter yells to the bartender: "Three coffee!" "When the price hits 29 cents a pound, Winthorpe and Valentine start agreeing to buy orange juice in April." They actually start to buy at 46 cents. 1:47:51 mark. Just because she counted the kids before leaving for the airport doesn't mean anything, a lot can happen from there until boarding the plane. As we've seen in the sequel for example. I always liked the scene when the kids lie/sit on the floor to listen to Little Orphan Annie show on the radio. There's a nice, nostalgic feel to it. "This is where it all ends, at a phone booth." You can actually notice the bus going downward immediately after the jump, but then the scene changes to the bus going up. You gotta love that terrible editing!
