Markdown I agree. Well I finished the entire movie...I will say it for sure has the feel of the happening and A quiet place mashed up together....I would say it ripped off parts from both movies but that doesn't mean it wasn't a good movie. This movie was good enough to be in the theaters.. Sandra's acting was on point like always. 4 out 5 stars. Oh ok. But I don't read books. I watch movies though. I watched about a minute of the Marathon. But I'm here. The director probably had him wear the same outfit so the audience would get familiar with Scut as the villian much quicker. That or they filmed all of Scuts scenes right after another and it was cheaper to just have him wear the same wardrobe. Probably a combination of both. To everyone saying it wasn't rape... if you don't think what Lewis did to Betty was considered rape I dare you to this with a girl who thinks you're repulsive...wear a disguise so she thinks it's her boyfriend...and have sex with her...then reveal it was you the entire time. See what happens lol You got a 50/50 chance of her falling in love with you right then and there! Or her crying rape and you are a registered sex offender. I don't know about you but I ain't taking those odds. When I was a kid I watched nearly every showing on tbs or TNT. Up until I was like 20 I actually wanted to...somewhere around 21..22...I tried to get into the excitement of the 24 hour marathon but I just couldn't. I'm 34 now and I will tune to the marathon and leave it on in the background...but hardly watch it. Any adults here that still watch it? I think it was just a really big house. When I think of mansions, I think of compounds that are so big they usually are named. Like..."Graceland" Neverland Ranch" Or "The Playboy Mansion"..etc....They usually have dedicated things in them that set them apart from regular houses. Like a dedicated movie theater...and no I don't mean making use of a finished basement or a extra room...I mean the mansion was designed with a movie theater in mind...or a bowling Alley...or a night club...maybe a back yard amusement park... possibly a food court in the mansion with dedicated workers on your payroll. Well that's funny because Michael Myers Did very well without Jamie Lee for 3 films. 5 films if you include the Rob Zombie Films. But what's even funnier is you thinking Heather Langencamp could hold a pelvic protector to Jamie Lees Acting Resume. I'm a Michael Myers fan til the day I die. F*ck originality. Definitely Democrats. Chicago area...plus the mom is way to loving to be a republican. And the dad most likely had mob ties. There is so many great shows of the 80s that didn't do well in syndication...the ones that still get played today are the few that just survived the changing times.. probably because their parents passed the shows on to their kids and so on. Off the top of my head saved by the Bell and full house being the biggest. Oh and golden girls. Those 3 shows get air time at all hours of the day and night it seems. On multiple channels. Blame those 3 shows for limited air time for GP and other 80s and early 90s shows. In the 90s and early to mid 2000s it was full metal jacket. I think probably more so because of the comedic relief in it..the drill Sargent scenes to name 1..but as I've gotten older I've come to really like Platoon...it has the comedic relief from the actor's..but also the dramaticness of being in Nam. Don't get me wrong FMJ has the drama as well but for me I feel like platoon almost puts me in like a first person view. I feel like I am going through what the characters are going through, as if I am in movie with them. I used to sleep over my friends house when I was a kid and his dad was obsessed with this movie. And the NES game of the same title. It's probably why I live this movie as an adult. I'd hate to see what the OP's opinion of Casino is. I'd imagine they wouldn't have a choice. If The SS raided a house to take the family away, it's not like they came in all nice and asked who's who..they most likely told them you got 5 mins to take what you want and get outside. If they refused or argued they were shot dead on the spot. Being a servant it's not like they would be coming from a prominent family that could persuade the SS not to take their loved ones. I'm just thankful I live in a country where we can actually make fun of president without being executed. Liberals don't hate people for their sexual orientation. And believe in helping those who can't help themselves. Two things I like about liberals. No because this show has been played so much on many different channels since the show has ended that i have probably seen each episode 10 times over. Probably more than 10. And In USA they always play reruns of shows in order. Funny thing is I never even watched 1 episode when it was still being aired. But through syndication it has became one of my favorite shows ever. Without thinking...yes..Because they were so cool. But if i think about it...Probably not because the 4 of them are so Cliquey. Yeah I might get a little time with one of them alone...But eventually they will always meet up somewhere. Just the 4 of them. Doing something that doesn't include me. Probably talking about how something i do annoys them.
