Would you ever want to spend time with any of the characters on the show?

Me I can picture me enjoying myself working with Jerry and George because of their funny antics and hearing their stories but I don't think I would want to be friends with any of the characters on the show, they're people who I'd rather have as acquaintances rather than friends.

Everyone who came into contact with them had their lives destroyed so I'd have to pass. Worst case scenario you end up like Susan. Absolute best case scenario you still get your toothbrush in the toilet.

reply

Without thinking...yes..Because they were so cool. But if i think about it...Probably not because the 4 of them are so Cliquey. Yeah I might get a little time with one of them alone...But eventually they will always meet up somewhere. Just the 4 of them. Doing something that doesn't include me. Probably talking about how something i do annoys them.

That was kind of the point of the last episode. If you looked at them rationally, they not only weren't such great people to know, they should have been locked up.

I think hanging out with Elaine or Jerry would be great. I'm always surprised how pretty JLD looks. She works hard at it, sure, but her eyes sparkle, she's got great teeth, my gosh, all that hair ! And Jerry seems like a good guy. Sure both of them observe too much and put weird spins on things, but they look like they want to have fun. George and Kramer seem a little too self-involved in their own worlds, too nit-picky.

reply

Kramer seems to have the larger group of friends outside the main four. His relationships seemingly work out better than the others who, as has been noted, destroy the lives of everyone they hang out with.

Very good observation

reply

Agree with this. I'd definitely hang out with Kramer.

reply

I tended to attract Kramers when I was single. My husband very much is not a Kramer, but he has a great sympathy for Kramer-types, so I still have the collection of oddballs in my life. But if you've ever known a Kramer, it's hard on the nerves.

reply

Probably not. Although I liked watching the show, I am a Christian and because of that none of them would agree with me on anything.

reply

I'm actually Bob Sacamano and Kramer is a great friend! ;-)

reply

Elaine. I’d help her get rid of those sponges.

I have a friend who I refer to as Kramer.

He leaves every door he goes through wide open, including your front door.

He comes to stay and will use an entire toilet roll (your last one) in about 4 hours. The bathroom in his house contains a huge pile of toilet rolls as he gets through so much. Nobody, including him, knows how or why.

Every time he stays, he will use your bathroom in the middle of the night and not turn the light off so the light and extractor fan will wake you up (remember what I said about doors).

He buys takeaways (usually the hottest vindaloo) and you'll be finding bits of poppadoms in strange place for weeks afterwards.

He'll wash his face in your kitchen sink and there'll be water dripping off the ceiling, walls and cupboards, and a large puddle on the floor.

He believes in various conspiracy theories and once offered to cure something by "laying on hands" as it "ran in his family".

He lives his life how he wants though, has boundless energy and drive, a wide range of friends from all walks of life, and can confidently hold a conversation with anyone even if 20% of what he says is utter nonsense.

Unlike Kramer, however, he has a house, family and works hard.

I love them but NO.
