Of course they knew. They programmed that stuff right in there from the beginning. All of this "AI" is just deaf, dumb, and blind bots doing what programmers tell them to do.
This example is Exhibit A that no "artificial intelligence" is involved at all, more like "programmed stupidity". We are being sold a bottle of snake oil. It reminds me of the robot chess players we saw long ago. Simple programming, complex programming, but all programmed none the less.

Actually the media controls half the political power, in a way.
If the media suddenly decided to stop throwing their support to the Democrats, probably a fourth of their votes would suddenly disappear. Even a lot more than that over time.
If a politician doesn't do the media's bidding, they can make him lose an election. Even Trump was forced to tiptoe and had to alter many of his policies, trying to give the media as little as possible that they would be able to criticize him about.

Many of the truckers can simply say they are out of hours, or their trucks are incapacitated or simply not show up to pick up the loads. There are currently up to 25,000 trucks entering NYC every day. If only 10 percent of them participate in the boycott that will create havoc with the flow of goods into the city.

Are New York Democrats insane? (rhetorical) The more they bring up spurious charges against Trump the more popular he becomes. There was no aggrieved party, there was no complaints lodged by the financial institutions. The banks lent Trump money, he paid it back 100% with interest. Who here thinks the banks are so lax they would lend out millions of dollars without verifying the value of the collateral?
