I definitely wouldn't use the power to rape women. If that's what you'd do, you're pretty messed up.
I'd use the power to just make life easier. In college I'd tell every teacher to give me a 4.0 and never do any work. I'd go to things for free.
The studio wanted to push everyone in the supporting category, including DiCaprio, which he refused to do since he is in no way a supporting character. So he refused to campaign at all, and the studio never tried to get him in the lead category. Which I admire him for, because if he had agreed to go supporting he definitely gets in, but takes a nomination away from Mark who was truly supporting. Plus, he was nominated lead for Blood Diamond, so voters just picked that role over this one.
Damon, while great, had a much less showy role. So he was never getting in since Leo, Jack, and Mark all had much louder, showier roles that get more attention.
Jack's performance is actually not universally praised. Lots of people think he was great, but some think his acting was too over the top and not the best of the year.
So Mark just got lucky. This was just the perfect role for him. Playing a wisecracking hard ass, using his hometown accent, lots of one liners and scenes that are comic relief...everything just worked out good for him.
Critics are part of the audience. They watch the show same as anyone else.
It's always funny to watch someone clearly lose an argument and be backed into a corner.
Agreed about Cranston, I was thinking one of the characters just bumps into him in the street or something, and it's revealed that it's Walt, but your idea would be really funny and cool too. It'd be funny for viewers to start freaking out when they suddenly noticed Walter White in the background of a scene.
Because this isn't a private message between the two of you. Fuck him if he lied. I'm asking you to explain about the wire tapping now. Stop dancing around like you said this guy was.
Well, now I'm asking you about the wire tapping claim. So explain please. Trump said three times Obama tapped his phones at Trump Tower. That was a lie.
I've read this entire thread, and I'd like an explanation for why you lied about what Trump said about Obama.
Catwoman wouldn't have fit in Begins or The Dark Knight. The trilogy didn't need a female lead. It's a Batman trilogy.
It's not worth billions. Experts say today it'd be worth 20 million. No diamond is worth billions. So you can step spewing that nonsense now.
I don't really like Rose that much, sport, I'm just aware Cal was far, far worse. You know, since he tries to commit murder and sets people up and is physically abusive. It's just strange you only say Cal isn't a nice guy when he's an attempted murderer but get a lot more angry about the things Rose did.
LOL you don't care about the fictional character yet you get so angry and take her actions so personally. That's truly pathetic. Plus you're whining about a movie you don't even like. Again, such anger at a fictional movie. I don't remember you being so rabid and aggressive on the Friends board on imdb. Maybe you're going through some hardships?
"He slapped her around because she was acting like a bitchy slut". Okay.
LMAO what is it with millennials and the "insult" snowflake? Is that honestly supposed to be insulting?
People not recognizing Bruce in Florence is definitely the dumbest one. Does everyone who says that know what every single billionaire in the world looks like? Would Americans recognize every Italian billionaire sitting in a cafe? Or French billionaire? Hell, would everyone even recognize Bill Gates? It really is a stupid complaint. Bruce was clearly only famous in and around Gotham, not in Europe. He wasn't recognized during the 7 years he was abroad either.
Uhhhhh....it also has magic and talking clocks and lamps and teapots. If you're looking for accuracy, look elsewhere.
Historical accuracy in a movie about magic and beasts and people turned into objects? Seriously? You might want to refrain from calling someone else silly.
How many threads got ruined because of that psycho? Anytime the break or just Ross was mentioned she'd come charging foaming at the mouth.
Can you really blame Rachel for her attitude towards Bruce? First he was going to murder someone, and no matter how justified it would have been, he'd have gone to prison for the rest of his life and ruin his whole life and legacy. And after she thinks he's dead, he comes back and she sees him swimming in hotel pools with models.
I'd have done more with Craine/Scarecrow. I'd have given a bigger role in the TDKR, especially because Ledger died. Craine could have become the kind of series long villain. His quick cameos in TDKR weren't enough.
Cal was abusive, controlling, a criminal, and attempted murderer. In what world is that simply, "Not the nicest guy in the world"? He was controlling and dismissive from the very start. I wonder why your hate of Rose and defense of Cal is so personal to you.
Wow, justifying abuse is really messed up. Cal was a controlling, condescending, prick. Not to mention a criminal since he framed an innocent man for a major theft and tried to commit murder multiple times.
It's one thing to not like Rose but your hatred of her over Cal is disturbing. Rose was wrong in the movie, but Cal was worse. He didn't even give a crap that Jack saved his fiance, he was going to walk away until the other guy told him to give Jack something.
I think his reasoning for not calling the police was because when he ran out of the store with the toothbrush and ran from the police, he thought he was a criminal and wanted by the police. Stupid, but he was 8.
