What you gave wasn’t a response. Name some the “cool” things in TLJ that make all the shit worth it?
It didn't erase what was established in TFA, it simply ignored it. Ruin somehow forgot he was making a sequel, and wrote it as if it was a stand-alone film. Thus, none of the character arcs or plotlines set up in TFA were followed up on, making it feel disjoint.
One only hopes that JJ has found a way to retcon at least some of TLJ and finish the character and plot arcs as he originally intended in TROS.
This x1000000000000000000
Be that as it may, one good scene doesn't make a good movie.
Fuck Rose. Worst SW character ever, played by someone who can't act.
Lol, yep, that'll do ;)
Meh. Who gives a fuck what that dick-chomper wanted? He should DIAF.
I've seen TFA a few times now, and enjoy it well enough. Even Phantom Menace is worth watching for some things (droid invasion, pod race, Darth Maul).
But yeah. Like Luke said to the Emperor: "Never. I'll never rewatch TLJ"
There are no midichlorians. That's just a stupid attempt by Lucas to retcon The Force so it's pseudo-scientific instead of the mystical force it's meant to be. Star Wars is fantasy, not sci-fi.
In other news, George Lucas escaped serious injury after falling off his $4bn, laughing.

Well, mission fucking acomplished then. He sure subverted and polarized all right. What a fucking asshole.
Only issue is that Clooney isn't interested. He was offered a cameo in this and turned it down.
Just saw it with my wife. We enjoyed it. Personally, I thought it was better than Ocean's 12, but not as good as 11 and 13. It was a decent heist movie though. It's nothing ground-breaking, but if you like heist films generally, then this is worth a watch.
This is the reason that immediately came to mind for me as well. Seems obvious.
I really couldn't have said it better. I second every point made here.
I sometimes think that Lucas may have sold it in disgust as a kind of "F you" to the fans because of the bitter complaints and personal attacks ("George Lucas raped our childhood") around the prequels.
And possibly somewhen else! Good catch, I didn't notice that!
Just saw this film tonight, and it felt to me that the end scene was done the way it was because Scott is going to end up being instrumental in bringing down Thanos. I could be way off base, of course.
Let's not feed the troll ;)
