Absolutely. I totally agree. I look forward to his next film. Have you seen it? I just watched it. I liked it. I understand where some of the negative reviews are coming from, but I thought overall it was good. The acting was excellent. Washington was fabulous, which of course isn't unusual, but this might be Colin Farell's best performance since In Bruges and Carmen Ejogo is great, too. I think Nightcrawler is absolutely amazing (and that Jake Gyllenhaal was robbed of an Oscar nomination, which he was more deserving of than Steve Carell, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Bradley Cooper) and watching this it's clear Dan Gilroy has a distinct style as a writer-director. There are some similarities in themes. I'm not. Other people are. Why are you jumping into two week old conversations anyway? Could you tell me if you saw this movie in the US and if you did, how? Neither Netflix nor Amazon have it. My library doesn't either. I appreciate any help you can give. Could you tell me if you saw this movie in the US and if you did, how? It's interesting what Stephen Frears is doing now, this coming just a year after Florence Foster Jenkins. Remember The Queen? High Fidelity is also a great movie and of an entirely different caliber. You answered none of my questions. He was. It was going to be a remake. It's disappeared from IMDb. You and I are in full agreement. I thought this whole thing was satire. I stopped being serious a while ago. Are you still serious? I really thought you were messing with me. I know nobody can think hundreds millions of strangers want to kill their uncles. Nobody can be that out of touch with reality. Do you even know the age of Millennials? I guess if we're still being serious, I'll reassert that Weinstein and Harding are very different and that comparing them is unfair to both Weinstein's sexual harassment and rape victims and Nancy Kerrigan, a victim of assault and battery. For the record, do you also have generalizations about Gen Xers and Baby Boomers? And are North Korean Baby Boomers and American Baby Boomers the same? Because of the blue and teal or because of the sympathetic treatment of Tonya Harding? Of course. Tonya Harding was a victim of other crimes, but Nancy Kerrigan was absolutely the victim in The Incident, as the film refers to it. Have you seen it? The film is in no way an anti-Kerrigan piece. Somebody asked if watching it was worth it. I said yes. I also find The Wolf of Wall Street worth watching which many don't. Maybe these producer-actors shouldn't keep casting themselves as questionable people, but I'll watch nearly every performance purported to be great just to see for myself. Yeah, I meant yours. I set mine down gently. I think when you're anti-rape and pro-logic spelling an obscure name wrong isn't a big deal. My mind is always in the gutter. Sigh. I’m not American. I’m Puerto Rican. How’d you know? Mic drop.
