I feel that Eva Green hasn't been in a good movie in over a decade, since Sin City.
It is quite dumb but this just like changing the mother from being a jackal are among the things this movie had to do in order to fit in the feminist, pro-choice and anti Catholic message. Same thing with the movie Immaculate which is very similar to this one. It is just “Church bad because abortion”.
People have been complaining about her in the games for a while now, it doesn’t mean anything. She is still selling out stadiums and topping the charts.
Taylor is one of those people that can’t be cancelled.

I felt the same about Nosferatu. It had a very strong first half but it just loses momentum and drags on after that. The movie has a lot of atmosphere but that's basically it.
Nailed it, well said. Also she was recently listed at #10 on a list of the 60 greatest actors of the 21st century. Every single film she is in the reviewers praise her performances, she is on a completely different level than someone like Sydney Sweeney and will end up as one of the greats in a matter of time.
Anora is her breakthrough role, she is getting a lot of recognition for it. She is likely already receiving a ton of offers for future roles. Only a matter of time before she has more work lined up.
I can see Newsom being their 2028 pick.

I don’t remember this movie being called woke. The actress that plays the witch is the one that got criticized for throwing a tantrum on IG over a fan art.

You could have said the same for Keaton as Batman, Reeve as Superman, etc. Eventually actors grow out of a certain role but the franchise is still on going so a new actor is used. Watson is not the right age to play a young Hermoine anymore.
I think Sabrina has more lasting appeal but Roan's seems more like the 15 minutes of fame type.

Apparently the Democratic Party is impressed with her and see her as a potential candidate for 2028. I guess we'll see, I don't think she would do well and it would seem to me that a Newsom/Whitmer ticked is more likely.
