She said it was actually peanut butter but it was a trick, that it was supposed to be uni as far as the audience was concerned. I didn't even know what uni was before Googling it, so to me I was just like "why is there peanut butter on sushi?" LOL
Those are some good questions and musings. I do think a lot of the reason people today can enjoy songs from the Seventies is definitely that the recording technology had advanced to where those songs still sound great today. But I'm sure, as you note, there was an aspect of it that had to do with cultural evolution as well.

He was bad in a scene near the end crying about his brother's murder. It seems he's a great actor in most respects but at least circa 1998, his "cry acting" needed work.
It was kind of weird, and didn't quite make sense as you lay out quite well. All part of how unfortunately the final part of this movie (after the prison flashbacks are over) is a lot weaker than what came earlier.
I don't need to have the "courage" to say I lied about Trump, because I didn't lie about him. You have yet to demonstrate any "lie". (Using the word "bleach" instead of "disinfectant" is not a lie, because bleach is the most commonly used type of disinfectant.) I have on the other hand shown how delusional you are about the man (I don't know if it's a lie because I think you are just out of touch with reality).
I have acknowledged how deeply flawed Biden is. The majority of other Democratic politicians, and even a few Republicans (like Joe Biden) would be preferable to him in the Oval Office, although he's certainly a better choice than Trump, who is manifestly unfit for office.
But you can't acknowledge any problems with Trump. It's idol worship and truly pathetic.

Hahahaha, because right, there's nothing Trump actually said that bears criticism. I suppose you either defend all of these, or claim they are false:

Oh, whatever, disinfectant. Of which bleach is the most common kind in most households. The point was about whether Trump is a nincompoop who blundered his way through the pandemic. The answer is that he is and did.
The real bullshit is claiming Trump didn't suggest "using ultraviolet light and bleach 'inside the body' to fight Covid", when we all saw him do it (while Deborah Birx cringed out of her shoes).

If you don't claim it's a deepfake (and that Birx is lying about how uncomfortable she was: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/birx-trumps-disinfectant-injection-moment-day/story?id=76474960), then you are just desperately denying the obvious truth because you don't want it to be true about your hero. It would be like me denying that Biden is going senile, when he quite obviously is (but I'll still vote for him anyway). Some of us stay in touch with reality even when it might tarnish our chosen political leaders.
