Ended up seeing this anyway. Wow what a tight & impactful 1 hr 40 min. I expected diminishing returns. I expected Annabell 3 or The Nun 2. Far far from that. Definitely better than the 2nd film (I remember hardly anything about that one) and maybe better than the first. Didn't expect to gaf but I do now & will at least click when/if they report what's next for the franchise.

I loved it. It's the second best in the series. Part 2 is my favourite.

I want to know when are they making a movie where humanity figures out the monsters weakness and fights back and eradicates them for good. Now that is a movie I'd like to see! And then another movie about how they rebuild their societé.

I went in with low expectations, but really enjoyed this film. I like the way they fleshed out the characters, and showed their vulnerabilityand destruction of the city.
I thought the 1st was best, but this is 2nd.
