My favorite wtf moment was when hulk swung a flagpole at him, which cap caught and stopped with his bare hands, and I noticed his gloves are still fingerless! His digits would have shattered from that impact!
So you equate Trump with the antagonist who commits a bunch of crimes, makes a series of poor choices, and ends up in jail?

Die Hard 2 completely falls apart as a movie when you realize how godamned dumb the villains plan was. Aside from the fact that it hinged on a massive snow storm happening on that specific night, there are like 50 airports within 30 minutes that those planes would have diverted to instead of circling DC until being out of fuel.
Bad writing that is too stupid to ignore!

At least the plot in this made sense, unlike dumbass Die Hard 2.
There should have been an after credits scene showing Reed doing all this quickly with Benny Hill music playing in the background.

Just from a character standpoint, he wouldn't endorse anyone because that isn't a superman thing to do. But he sure as shit wouldn't be propping up Trump either way. If anything, he'd have cracked another bombshell story about him as Clark Kent, which i'm guessing you'd call fake news.

The intent of the electoral college is painfully obvious, especially when you consider the political divide at the time between Northern and Southern states, and also the fact that the 3/5's compromise was passed just days before the electoral college came into effect.
Hell, here's a quote from James Madison explaining why the US didn't choose to directly elect the president by popular vote.
"There was one difficulty, however of a serious nature attending an immediate choice by the people. The right of suffrage was much more diffusive in the Northern than the Southern States; and the latter could have no influence in the election on the score of Negroes. The substitution of electors obviated this difficulty and seemed on the whole to be liable to the fewest objections."

So...the electoral college, which gave the perfect solution for southern states that wanted the electoral power of their slave populations without actually letting them vote...wasn't racist? Sure, that makes sense!
I'd never, not ever, vote for the GOP, but Vance not seeing combat is a non-issue. Most people who serve don't. Hell, you could sign up with the intent of putting boots on the ground in a combat zone and end up spending 4 years at a recruiter station in Miami if that's where the military decides they need you.

So it sounds like he made it to E9 and retired, but is only getting retired pay as an E8 due to not doing some Admin shit. That is fairly common and nobody who served would in any way consider that stolen valor. Hell I'll be in the same boat when I retire soon, as I'm not doing the full number of years at E8 to get paid for it.
If he was frocked to E9 and didn't get busted down for some reason, then he's an E9. End of story!
They must be insanely good at recovery then, because I flew there last year and it looked fine!
