He went down on her in “H3” if I remember correctly. Double the fun! Well I thought that the bombings were in the beginning of the pilot when Oz was watching the news on that giant screen, where it talked about The Batman defeating Edward/Riddler and saving all those people. Wasn’t everything supposed to be disarmed then? The bombings surprised me, especially when that kids mother, family got killed. What REALLY shocked me is he was back with Oz, when? The next day or so? That’s what it looked like to me, I mean sweet Jesus, couldn’t you have even “pretended” you cared about the kid and let him be for a couple of weeks or so? C’mon now. Everything is suspect in this series. You ever see her in “The Frighteners?” She was especially cute in that and she played against type as the evil psychopathic sister to the main villain. Dee had long hair for that movie so it was a different take on her that you don’t normally see. Just wanted to see what you thought of that. Uh..NO! You’re wrong. “American Werewolf in London” was the better transformation and THAT werewolf was a TRUE monster. The werewolves in “The Howling” still had their human intellect in their werewolf forms. Not so with the one in “AWIL”. So he was a “true” werewolf, animalistic with nothing of his human self. He was HUGE too. You run into him you’re deader than dead vs those werewolves. I’d rather run into them than David’s werewolf. Oh and he would’ve made mincemeat out of them if they had fought as you suggested. He would’ve been quicker and harder to grasp as they were bipedal. He definitely would’ve out maneuvered them. Thanks for that tip, I now know what to expect. What’s with the upside down cross on the poster? Is it inferring that everything here is due to satanic/demonic influences? Suspension of disbelief is Bea Kiddo breaking through the lid of the coffin with her bare hand and then climbing the 6 feet up to climb out of the grave. Because the former priest was a friend and a comrade. Talk to ANY veteran of a war and they’ll tell you newcomers aren’t always welcome, those that replace their friends who were killed. They won’t take the time and trouble to get to know whoever it may be and invest in them emotionally. Plus Jack’s own parents turned without saying nothing so he had that in his mind as well. It’s like how Ripley in “Aliens” freaked out when she learned that Lance Henriksen’s character of “Bishop” was an android, where she told him to get the f away from her. Espeically since Ash, the android in “Alien” was the one who double crossed everyone and set them up to be harvested by the creatures due to orders from The Company. Same thing applies here, Jack wouldn’t have known if the good father was a servant of the Master or not, he just didn’t know plus again a newbie wasn’t welcome working with seasoned pros. WHAT??!! You never saw “Food of the Gods” in the theaters? He was good in that and the main star to boot. I’m sick of the carp too. Get the trout, it’s better. WHOA! “HOLY BI-POLAR EPISODE BATMAN!” CALM DOWN! What is all this hatred about? Good thing you didn’t get slapped for it. He gave us naked apes the power of thought. Dogs have the power of thought. Dolphins too. What else do you think is preposterous? Saw this as a child in the early 70’s and as young as I was, even then I got a weird feeling when I/we saw Victoria standing up on the boat. What I think in answer to your questions is that “no” she did neither of those things you mentioned. Personally I think she was “Pet Sementaryed”. Meaning that it really wasn’t her, whatever that thing was that was resurrected it wasn’t Victoria, no longer. So Phibes now must travel on the river of eternity with a shell of the woman that was his wife, that he did all these horrible things for and THAT is his eternal reward which is just when you think about it. This will be his torment, forever cheated despite his genius and best efforts. She’s in front of him but he’ll never possess her again. What you or most people didn’t think about is what the hell is he going to do on that shit little gondola sailing for all eternity? It could be a billion dollar yacht for all you care but he’d have to stay on it and never get off for…….forever? That’s hell if you ask me, he did himself no favors. Biederbeck was the lucky one in that he missed out and died, he went to his peace finally although that’s not the way he saw it but he won’t be stuck on a boat having to sail forever. How do you sleep? What do you eat? Where to go to the bathroom? Or shower? Where do you get new clothes, heck what do you even talk about? What would entertain you? The best twist would be what if you “can’t” get off, even to die? To end it all, even if you wanted to. It’s a nonsensical ending at best. Yep! From the good ol USA LCHD. Yeah I saw the dubbed version because when the “Road Warrior” came out I was confused as to why. Max had an Australian accent all of a sudden. Have to admit I see what you mean but WHO’S going to film a biopic about Marty Feldman of all people? Grew up watching the guy in movies & on TV. He was paired with Gene Wilder a lot. He holds a special place in my heart. Great?! This crap? I’m overjoyed that this is the final season and this is gone for good. That’s how great I think it is. SemiAnimus, you may be interested in what I have to say, as well as the others here. I was on a website where this movie was being discussed. The dude there was talking about Solomon and his wish for invisibility. The theory that he had was that Solomon was one of those guilty for the death of Sophia’s son. That he was part of those cultist crazies that murdered him. If not he himself, he was part of that group. He also said that she knew he was and that his “invisibility” wish was simply to be forgiven, to be “invisible” and not guilty anymore, to have his conscience clean before death. But I do agree with your take on it from another post here where his “death” of course granted him his invisibility wish. You can’t be more invisible than being dead so I also agree with your take. Although he did express a desire to “live” invisibly for some time before his death but you can’t have everything. As for the guy who’s post I’m talking about, well i’m not certain I agree with his assessment but it IS an interesting take on it, to say that the reason for Sophia’s being there was in front of her all along. It would’ ve put things in a different light & it would have made it a more interesting film I think if you believe that but again it is an interesting theory. Hope you think so as well. Well I hear what you’re saying. After all, even I will admit, after “Mad Max” if you happened to see it, especially at the time of it’s release, who would’ve ever have thought they’d even bother to make a sequel from that? Never mind a “series”. When the “Road Warrior” was released and I found out what it was about I was puzzled to say the least as I thought the original “MM” as much as I thought it was an ok movie was a one and done film at the very least. Sure surprised me that someone took up the mantle again to continue it’s story. It’s the least “polished” but “best” in terms of information and storyline. It’s the only one where you’re going to learn about Max from the ground floor as to who he really is…..at the beginning. One can feel “special” at witnessing the “origins” so to speak of a character that would go on despite one’s initial surprise. You don’t even need it anymore as a crux to hold up the other ones (Besides “Road Warrior” that is) in the series but it’s good to have it, to see how it all began. Regarding the “Road Warrior” I still remember the circumstances around it as to where I was and how I came to see it. Was a teen going to the movies with my friends, and we were on our way to see “Class of 84” I think & I wasn’t feeling it so I broke off from the group without telling anybody & I ducked into a neighborhood theater to see the “Road Warrior”. In the beginning from the narration & when I saw the flashbacks from “Mad Max” I was like “Holy shit! NO WAY! So this has to do with THAT? It’s a continuation? Who would’ve ever have thought? Cool man.” Etc. Good memories. Well the thing is I believe the Bible passage that Cecilia discovers behind the picture of the true Mother Mary is the key behind all of this. It’s from "2 Corinthians 11:14". Which says, 13: “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14:And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. I’ve given you Corinthians chapter 13 as well to shed some more light on this. It seems clear to me, that what they were doing either by ignorance or by CHOICE was to create the offspring of Satan instead of that jive about trying to recreate or creat the offspring of Christ. Christ never married or had any children & it’s blasphemy to even think so. So either Father T was unaware of what he was doing or he knew the deal and was always aware of the truth that what was on the nail was a demons/Satan’s DNA and that the nail WASN’T the one that was used in Christ’s crucifixion but it belonged to someone/something else. Hence the passage from Corinthians 13 which I included about false apostles (priest/nuns/clergy) making themselves out to be the apostles of Christ when they’re not. 14: For even Satan can be made to appear as an angel of light. It’s the truth he can. He doesn’t have to appear as a scary horned demon with a pitchfork tail, he can assume any shape he wishes and he can convince you he is a holy being of light when the truth is the exact opposite. So considering all of this I think that’s the deal with this movie. Hopefully some of you think this makes sense.
