Question (SPOILER): How was the woman...

...able to breathe to keep her alive for so many hours? I realize the husband conked her on the head, partially buried her, and that a pocket of air is shown around her face several times, but there'd have to be a path of air to the surface to keep her alive for half a day.

reply

Mythbusters absolutely proved there is plenty of air underground even for a person in a coffin. They only had to stop the test as the weight of the dirt was causing the coffin to collapse. Presumably she could be alive if the dirt wasn't heavy enough to crush her.

reply

That will certainly help in suspension of disbelief.

reply

Suspension of disbelief is Bea Kiddo breaking through the lid of the coffin with her bare hand and then climbing the 6 feet up to climb out of the grave.

reply

You can get away with that in a movie like "Kill Bill" because the tone is so comic booky and over-the-top, not so much a realistic drama/thriller like "The Screaming Woman."

reply

You mean that's not possible? Damn.
