It is the number tattooed on her arm. If I recall season 1 it was mike that named her 11 because she didn ot know her own name and he saw the number on her arm.
i just went through the "Beyond Stranger Things" series that accompanies Season 2. In one of the episode the actress that plays Kali said that the look her character has at the end when we saw her (Kali looking in the window of the van) was one of discovery that perhaps she (Kali) is missing out on something that Eleven has.
Why do you think they are showing episodes out of order?
I would chalk up the lack of Amenadiel, Maze ands Trixie to budget stipulation. This season has more episodes than previous seasons and the ratings went down big time from S1 to S2. That combination probably made the budget for each episode smaller.
I thought there was more humor in Thor than in GOTG2. This was a thought I actually had during the movie: "This film actually has 'dramatic Relief' instead of comic relief.
How is the feminist agenda being shoved down our throats??? They have a main character who is female?? HOLY CRAP!!
Not on blu ray but I think you can get it on DVD
I will most likely be that but that was also my first guess.
I like the idea that he actually is a cop who has been chasing the Sinnerman and hope that is the case.
I am aware I am watching fiction but that does not mean that nothing needs to make sense. It is still a story where they base the story on things we understand.
In their reality, two male Moclans can reproduce.
This is not necessarily the case. Perhaps they are asexual and only one of the two produces young but their society has come to the conclusion that two parents are better than 1.
The Orville is horribly written. The last episode had the MacFarlane and Grimes acting like they were is a wacky comedy and everyone else acting as if they were in a serious sci-fi show.
The episode with the gender change. The security officer is brought into the trial to show that a female is not weak but she is only stronger than men because of her planet's gravity. This is brought up by the prosecutor also saying that "I am sure the males on her planet are stronger than her" to which the defence replies "We do not know that so lets ignore that" And the prosecutor drops that line of questioning,
THAT is poorly written because the prosecutor should actually bring up the fact that the security officer's specialties is IRRELEVANT because the rule applies to Moclans.
The episode with the big ship and the space traveling colony: They never follow up on Liam Neeson's character. They just left him in the building where he was torturing the ex-wife and then just acted as if telling the rebels the secret would solve EVERYTHING!!! Seriously, learn how to close of plotlines.
Well then how do they reproduce?
If all of the females are changed to males at birth then how do they reproduce without being hermaphrodites
By saying the statement is wrong can you tell me what is correct?
By bureaucratically I am just thinking along the lines of they do not search through the force to find people, they send out people who check MC counts and any that are high enough are brought to the council.
When in reality we know that it is not just the count but who you are. I am sure they would have missed many good Jedi candidates who did not have the MC count but whose patience and maturity would have made up for the lack on MCs.
The spiritual approach, to me, went out the door the minute it was confirmed in RotJ that Vader was Luke's father and both of Vader's children were force sensitive.
Anakin was highly criticized for being overpowered, and no one liked the midochlorians or 'chosen one' nonsense. Rey
I thought the midi-chlorians was a great idea. It demonstrated how far the Jedi council had veered from the original path and had become a bureaucracy. It showed that they cared more about cold stats than actually using the force. I am sure there was a test and if your midi-chlorians were below a certain number you didn't get a chance to learn.
Qui-gon sensed through the force that Anakin was strong but also knew the council would not accept his (Qui-Gon's) word and used the test to convince the council to let him take him from Tatooine.
Additionally, one of the critiques of the use of midi-chlorians was that is made it too scientific and took away a person's ability to gain force use through training. Well, we already knew that is not true because Vader being Luke and Leia's father shows that force use is transmitted through biology and not training.
In both "A New Hope" and "The Force Awakens" the story starts out with someone putting information into a droid that is then told to take that information to the good guys. This does not happen in "The Phantom Menace"
In both "A New Hope" and "The Force Awakens" the droid is then put with our force hero and the force hero helps get the droid to the people that need to get the information. This does not happen in "The Phantom Menace" because there is no droid with information.
In both "A New Hope" and "The Force Awakens" the goal is to destroy a planet killing weapon and this does not happen in "The Phantom Menace" as there is no plane killing weapon in that movie.
Both "A New Hope" and "The Force Awakens" ends in the destruction of the planet killing weapon with the main antagonist getting away. This does not happen in "The Phantom Menace", in The Phantom Menace the antagonist (Darth Maul) is killed.
The devil is in the details.
I take you do not live in the US. I hope you understand that Netflix did not create the show they are just showing it outside the US. CBS, I believe, is the company that produces the show so if you are going to be mad at anyone it should not be Netflix.
Why is showing a homesexual relationship shocking in and of itself? For it to be shocking it would have to be unprecedented and there are plenty of shows with homosexual relationships. You can say that it is unprecedented for Star Trek but the last Star Trek series was over 10 years ago and story lines have expanded since then.
"definitely not the focus of the show. " Well it is a good thing then as it is far from being the focus of the show. FYI, do not watch The Orville. You have been warned.
I personally would prefer it not be a story point but I would also prefer for there to be no romantic relationships at all.
I think the introduction was handled poorly. These two should have had a similar scene at the start to establish the relationship so we would have been more in tune with them. The way it was done was to create shock value (note I say the way it was done was to create shock value and not that the relationship itself is shocking to me) and once we get past the "they are gay ... OOOOOOO" type of story telling and just have it be easily established two same gender type are together in a more subtle way things will pass smoother.
When having sex for money on camera, how often are people having sex receiving the money from the other person(s)?
I think that would be the key. So if you pay someone to have sex with you, that is illegal. If someone else pays you to have sex with another person then that is fine.
It is "icky and sinful", if you do it right. :)
Which ship are you counting as Discovery's sister ship?
The autodestruct WAS used by the Europa. Saru detected the "voluntary antimatter containment breach" and the Captain concluded "They are going to self-destruct".
You may be correct as far as it possibly being damaged as the reason it was not the Shinzou did not use it. We have no idea what happened withe the ship after the Captain died.
Well Marvel will have put out 3 this year (Guardians Volume 2, Spider Man and Thor) and DC will have put out 2 (Wonder Woman and Justice League) and there was not an X-Men or Deadpool film this year so I do not know where you are getting this 7-12 number.
I think you are getting overwhelmed by the coverage and not the actual product but even if the amount of product is too much it is not close at all the 7-12 a year you think it is
