Bless The Beast & Children. Sounds like Girls! Girls! Girls! And the Globe goes to...….Meryl Streep, The River Wild. I wanna thank the Hollyweird foreign press. I dont know exactly who or what you do but thank you guys. And I wanna thank Meryl Streep and Oprah Winfrey because im at an award show and it is the law to thank them at all award shows. Thanks guys! It was Dick Proenneke. He lived alone in the backwoods of Alaska from I think 1968 until 1998. Great documentary, its called Alone in the Wilderness. There is no "viewer voting." Thats all fake. Your "vote" goes nowhere but to a made up number ABC puts out that doesn't mean anything. The show producers decide who stays and who goes. Benedict from Last Action Hero no doubt. Cher is a legend. Hottest woman ever back when she had that long black hair and dark tan. But no drugs and she was good at a lot of different things in the entertainment business which is how you survive and have a career in that industry. lol. Im watching this on TV for probably the first time in 25 years, maybe longer. I came here to post the same thing. The director was clearly going for the kids version of Over The Top and Rain Man. I'm also seeing a lot of Best of the Best 2 in this but its weird because that movie came out in 93. Peter Creek was born Peter Gruber. Hes Hans Grubers brother. That guy you threw off Nakatomi. Its Christmas Theo! Its the season of miracles. A really good one I saw on PBS years ago is called, Country Boys. Came out in 2005 I think. It follows two Eastern Kentucky HS aged kids from very poor backgrounds and how they navigate through their life. One has this amazing support system at home and the other doesn't. Its really sad at times. And Dick Proenneke's Alone in the Wilderness is great too. Probably have heard of that one? Its popular. He built a cabin in the backwoods of Alaska and lived up there alone for 30 years. Guy was a beast. Just the toughest most self sufficient man off all time. Ive always thought the grandparents get there on Thanksgiving. When the door bell rings it looks like Russ is watching the Thanksgiving Day parade in New York. He should do his next video as Johnny Carson. Maybe do another one as Al Pacino. I personally dont want actual gifts. I prefer several Christmas cards with brand new crisp 50 or 100 dollar bills inside the card. Ha, all true. I have some regular movie clichés. -In HS themed movies everyone knowing the steps to dances at the prom or homecoming. -This one I just picked up on recently. In 1980s movies you will notice people somehow doing more on those early computers then what they actually could do in real life for that time period. Ha, yeah for sure. I still use that one when im talking about my uncle to my mom. I also use Lester Diamonds, "Im seeing you for the very first time." "Im seeing you for the very first time I ever saw you." Wrong, asshole!!(McLain voice) It is! It takes place in December. They are at a Christmas party. There is visible Christmas décor in the building. Hans reads the shirt, "Ho..Ho..Ho." And they play a Christmas song to end the movie. You've been watching too much Friday the 13th. I still think Healy telling Mary he works with retards is the funniest scene in this movie.
