RizRax: thanks, you're the best!
@Reaperdude: you're spot on, thank you for pointing that out. Whether you like Carter or not, his character got better and better and was tied with the quality of the show. After he left (more or less), the show really went down hill.
Am I the only one who imagines the ER credits tune at the end of a Code Black episode? I see it as a compliment though :)
With a little bit of time, Code Black will become just as good as ER. But maybe I'm overrating all my sweet memories of ER, because some episodes (seasons even) were a real drag. Anyway, in all the multiple-victims-scenes, ER always seems a bit more urgent or tensen. Must be the way it's written and shot. And I suspect ER had a little bit more budget per episode.
Right, thanks. Two more season is something I can live with. Not that SyFy listens to me anyway :)
The purpose was to have a big profit. Which it did. The good reviews and Oscar (nominations) are nice bonus :)
I don't think Louise was stuck in a time loop. It feels like a paradox though, when something in the future causes an event in the present, causing the same event in the future... But after her final talk with the Chinese general, Louise can just continue living, she's not stuck. The same paradox applies for the aliens knowing about the event 3000 years from now and seeking help with the humans. By doing so, they're actually confirming that timepath for the next 3000 years.
By the way, if you like stories about time, time loops, paradoxes, etc: check out 12 Monkey's. Nice SciFi show.
In the last episode the boat film was a bit long. But oh, how the portrayed the Porsche... Absolutely amazing! I wish I could see or read an interview with one of the films editors. They do such a terrific job.
Is it confirmed that 4 will be the last? Maybe I'll hang in for a little while longer... :)
I must admit, I'm a big Cole and Cassie fan. It's a delight to watch them in season 1 and at the end of 2. I loved the 57-59 period and I wouldn't have minded if it ended there somehow. Now they're seperated AGAIN! And when they finaly meet in S3, it will be awkward all over again... And there's a big change one of them will (permanently) die in S3. I should've never started watching this show...
That is very true. And one of the biggest reasons not to watch time traveling shows, because with one pencil strike the writers hit the big easy reset button. But I fell for it... Mainly because of Amanda Schull btw.
I wish I could give you a kudo sir.
They did use the line 'go down the rabbit hole' earlier in that episode. Althought it's just a general expression and not exclusive from The Matrix.
I'm glad to see some good observations instead of the usual bashing of some TGT fans. I couldn't agree more, this season is a delight to watch. I'm very excited about the next season.
And indeed, the production is amazing. And especially the editing/post-production! How they introduce the FXXK or the Ford GT, just mind staggering.
