Maybe they are finally going to start respecting a diversity of personal views, regardless of whether they are popular or not?
Her fan club Time Magazine said it was "Her Moment".
Now it's "Her Embarrassment".
Part of being a politician is working with people whose views/values you DON'T respect or agree with. Taking into account that he's a very wealthy movie star, how well do you think he would manage that part of the job?
Not only that, but everyone would continuously remind him of being in Batman & Robin.
Late night TV is for BORED people!
The problem with most metal bands (including Metallica) starting in the mid-1980s is they were less interested in writing songs and captivating material, and more interested in creating that dull, leaden, tediously repetitive "sound". Every band watched the exact same horror movies and started sounding interchangeably the same as everyone else. It was the audio equivalent of a temper tantrum in hi-def sound. Metallica, after establishing their sound on the first two albums, has just relentlessly done the same Spinal Tap thing over and over again. I say all this as someone who actually enjoys music on the heavier end of the spectrum.
Also, the entire movie was just set pieces and visual gags.
Read his bio sometime. He WAS a metal singer between 1975-85, and led a group called Blackjack.
A perfect time capsule of the late-1970s, early-1980s. It's become one of those "you had to be there" shows, because it seems to be mostly forgotten today. A true stand-out of its era.
I think the point is: "Once you've achieved perfection, there's no room for growth or progress."
Gimme Shelter by far!
It only makes sense for Manatee Awareness Month to follow Squirrel Awareness Month!
(Although I greatly prefer having squirrels in my yard over manatees.)
Is threeoranges the person we now know as fourlemons?
A perfect example of how politics has become just another "Cool Kids Table" on the elementary school playground that is modern society. If you don't obey the "Cool Kids", you're harassed and ostracized.
Wow - stunning resemblance!
Is this OFFICIAL? I kept hearing he really wanted to do Doc Savage, but was continuously pulled away from it by other "can't say no/can't miss this" projects.
If not him, who should play Doc Savage?
The only reason I even remember that song is because at the time I had a boss at work who used to CONSTANTLY sing that song to himself in the office and had no idea he was even doing it. It was very amusing when a co-worker finally confronted him about it.
Whatever happened to Berlin anyway?
Not too long from now, Chris Rock will become a trivia question.
Jude Law will always be remembered for his awe-inspiring performance in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow!
Watch Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow instead!
His iMDB page lists only one: House on Haunted Hill (1959).
Interestingly, where it lists Family, it says: "Children: Skeleton".
(I'm not making this up!)
It's about seizing your enemy's assets. Even if it has no practical value, taking something that is valuable to your enemy and using it as a bargaining chip or holding it over their heads is seen as a weakness to exploit.
