Does he have a future in politics?

Since Reagan and Schwarzenegger were both actors who became politicans. I wonder if Clooney sees himself as a possible Governor or President someday.

He did look the part in "Ides of March", which was one of his better movies.

He was the writer and director of the movie, so I think it is safe to say he thought about it.

He is of right age, and has a very suitable wife.

He's already in charge of the Democrat Party, so that and making lots of money making crap movies may be all he can handle at the moment.

Part of being a politician is working with people whose views/values you DON'T respect or agree with. Taking into account that he's a very wealthy movie star, how well do you think he would manage that part of the job?

Not only that, but everyone would continuously remind him of being in Batman & Robin.

reply

Not if we're lucky.

He was asked that some time back and said he had too much in his past, presumably unsavory.

Sure, if you are fine with someone who is married to Amal née Alamuddin, whose moral ethics are more flexible than a Cirque du Soleil contortionist.

Lockerbie Scotland terrorist? Muammar al-Gaddafi henchmen? Her own family ties to Hamas?

Read up on her questionable past. And present.
