Ah nice, I haven’t seen them live, doubt I will now. 97 would have been a good time to see a Stones show.

I saw a doco on them a few years back and I remember them talking about recording Gimme Shelter. The female vocal was done in a few takes and they woke her up at midnight to come in and record, she was a few months pregnant at the time. The sad part was hearing she lost the baby shortly after that.

I agree! I don’t really listen to the radio so none are too overplayed for me, I just go to those three when I’m in a classic rock mood.

Fair enough. I admit the “woo woo” in Sympathy can get a bit much on repeat listening.

Dandelion is good too. I also like Can I Get A Wintess as far as really early stuff goes. I’d say that’s their best cover version.
