Give it time there are some good moments in there.
I have to agree with you here. One of my friends is unreasonably obsessed with the idea of new york and living there. He currently lives on another continent and I keep telling him immigrating into the US is not that easy. But he wants to make it happen. Well go for it if you want it so much, but I doubt it will be the big thing that finally makes him happy.

It was made on a budget of 1000 in 2007. It's fine.

Sounds like you came to the movie with pre-concieved notions that prevented you from enjoying it or giving it a fair shot.
With his nephew playing him I can't imagine them wanting to show the more unflattering moments of his life.
The movie does have a couple of risqué scenes but even beyond that it is a fun entertaining comedy which is worth seeing if you haven't yet.
The directors stated as much, but he seems like the guy who has latent homosexuality and starts to discover it in his 40's when he gets his first mid-life crisis.

She was not being mean to others. This is something a lot of people mixed up. Members of her upper management staff were and she just didn't intervene, but she herself didn't participate in the workplace bullying. Big difference.
I live in a house like this and it's a lot of work to keep it clean.
There are lots of women in relationships with not great looking man so I wouldn't go as far as to say all that.
Well yeah but they are going to whitewash all that with the biopic to keep making money off of his catalouge. That is all they care about.
I remember when I saw this movie I was under it's spell for 2 whole weeks, it did not leave my head. I did not understand how could they make such a good movie? It was really insane. Everything worked.
I have to agree with this. While he had his issues, he was the most level headed of them all.
It's kind of depressing imo.
