Chewing gum can really get stuck in your intestines for a long time if you swallow them.
Can't wait for Friday the 13th next week! Is anyone else also a little excited for that day too?
Hitler or Stalin, eh? I think it's probably in the mustaches.
For a more serious answer, I think Adam Driver may be consider this for some people. I only ever seen his work in TFA, but he even a different story from other films and TV shows Driver that he has done before too. I mean, his physical appearance is really like an inkblot test for a lot of people. Either sexy, ugly, awkward, or neutral. The scene in TFA where
he removes his mask before Rey
kind of speaks for itself depending on who you asked. Some can also say his charisma may have something to do with it.
A little bit. I mostly played outside, read books, and watch TV before the turn of the millennium. My dad had one PC around for office work before we started investing in Mac software like Words, PowerPoint, etc. My parents also brought few CD-rom games to play too. My elementary school pretty much have computer labs too after the turn of the century. I also remembered how much of a big deal AOL, Google, and Yahoo was when I was about 5 or 6 years old. To the point where they would get referenced a lot on TV and movies.
The Exorcists and those earlier slasher films would always be this for me when I was younger.
I agree. It's all fair game on the patient's behalf to make those arrangements, even in agreement with close family and friends if the patient is left incapable. That's where the scenario can become a bit tricky depending on given circumstances.
Would taking a critical condition patient off of life support count as assisted suicide. For example, if the patient has been in a coma for so long with no sign of improvements?
I would also find this a bit understandable in the case of terminal cancer and that the patient/family would personally be ok with this option. It's still a tough subject.
Also, why am I not too surprised to find a lot of retarded yahoo comments posted under that article?

That one is sadly a very concerning statement. You're not wrong in a sense that kids would continue to have easier access to porn and such online. I remembered being in grade school when kids were starting to act crass and make jokes around the third and fourth grade. Stuff can be heard of and encountered online (even by accident) around middle school age and up. This was a little before social media became prominent at puberty age. Precocious puberty is actually taking place a lot for some kids nowadays, especially in girls.
With that said, has a lot of current societies become too desensitized from the 'sex sells' culture and other debauchery attitudes (or just sensationalization in general)? Even with the help of western media?
From a parental perspective, that I could see with barclay’s point, it could mean continuing to undermine good and strict parenting as much as possible. I may be overthinking this one a bit, but it would seem these hedonistic attitudes could also eventually lead to dumbing down people so much to the point of carelessness with increase birth rates, disease rates, poverty, welfare, negligence, health issues, domestic violence, and shorter lifespan in their lives. Then again, I could be digressing on that last point.
I'm with you about the political and social angle from this season. I thought the idea was a bit much and too soon to begin with, even for American viewers. Which got surprisingly downplayed a bit after its premiere episode (I hope I'm not too wrong from there afterwards). I actually found the cult idea in itself a little interesting. But it also would depend on how the execution unfolds with that concept for me too. If nothing much came out of this cult idea in the end, then I could agree with you about that too.
Then, of course, what do you really expect to come out of a show called American Horror Story? If I were to watch a program about an Australian horror story, and something about their current politics and social matters seem to surface up a lot in their series, then I could see your overall point. But at the same I could also respect the fact that the program is on a series mostly pertaining to Aussie events, since it is their series to run.
I suspected the same. The therapist one wouldn't surprised me.
Nah, I think 'Rocket Man' is a super douche in his own right too. Both are really petty individuals that are unfortunately in power squabbling back and forth.
Not being a traditional candidate means nothing with Trump. He still never proven any good intentions to lead a country or revolutionize anything out of the establishment (he probably had no idea what all that even meant before either). Trump’s not even experience in the world of politics and government! He even once admits that being president is harder than it looks for him and misses his old life.
The country is still super divided after the election and during this administration. The presidency just seems to be all title and bragging rights to him at most. He said to have one of the lowest approval ratings ever compare to any previous presidents. In office, Trump still didn’t accomplish much during his nine months. Some of his legislative and antics are so unreasonably asinine that not even some republicans could get behind them. The sad part to come out of this election with an inexperienced TV persona as president now opens more doors for dopes like Kanye West, Caitlyn Jenner, and Kid Rock to run for government too. Can wait for one of the Kardashians to become a US Diplomat next!
Let Clinton publish a book. Who cares? As a previous poster puts it, no one is forcing a gun on your head to read or purchase her books. Other politicians and previous candidates have also moved onto their own matters that don’t revolve around Trump too much at the moment. I heard Jeb and Kasich have moved onto some other things. Would I give a rat’s ass about what they do with their time too much? Nope. So it’s all a moot point for me. Focusing any more attention on his opponents or the previous administrations, under his term, are just moots by comparison.
Both are pathetic cowards that are just all talk--no action-- for now.
It's like watching two toddlers fighting and name-calling each other in the playground. Except the scenario lacks an larger authority or such that probably doesn't want to bother slapping some sense out of these kids' nonsense. *cough*UN*cough*
Which GOP primary were you really supporting at that time out of curiosity? I'm pretty sure most of them were at least saner compared to what we ended up with in the end for president. Even a Bush... say what you will about his family's legacies, but I actually kind of felt sorry for him during the primary when he first dropped out. I felt the media's coverage on Trump more than everyone else was the biggest mistake in this outcome too. It's like literally feeding an internet troll or nameek (sp?) from IMDB. America just elected the first internet troll for a president.
Though some countries in Africa, South America, and Asia has been through so much worst kinds of scenarios in politics before compared to America and Europe. At least America never had an extreme history of drug dealers, money squanderers, and totalitarians that ran (for) the office before. Yet.
Essentially for all of the things you just list-- which all boils down to being the biggest attention whore douchebag as possible.
Kind of like how a lot of gullible people that supported Trump would eat up everything he says, writes, sells, promote, post on Twitter, does, and 'promises'? Yells out 'fake news!', spreads other falsehood and delusions around, and possibly gets away with being a good Benedict Arnold under everyone's nose just because he can?
Really? Some published books of a former opponent not holding office was your biggest concern at the moment (do you tend to get like this with other 20+ candidates and the previous administrations too), but not whatever embarrassment or lunacy Dotard is going on about from the office right now????? Forget everything that happened from the previous election and such, I'm very concern with what's been going on under this current administration right NOW!!!
The film does look like it is going to be visually good, I agree. The cast seems to be fine too. I wouldn't mind a different twist in the plot either if handled well.
Funny enough, as I just replied to this post, I also just received that IT ad too. The one titled "What the Cast of 'It' Should Really Look Like". I've seen those IT related ads more than once lately on this site.
I asked this same question too a while ago. Supposedly the ads are just generated through third party sites. Don't know if those ads have any real relations with this site or not. The ones I received on the bottom are clickbait garbage with tabloid titles. The longer one I received on the top will generate ordinary ads for products and insurances.
The first three sets of twin movies had always astonished me by their timing and coincidences:
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012) and Lincoln (2012)- With both movies being about Lincoln, though one of them is just clearly a weird horror movie featuring Lincoln.
Madagascar (2005) and The Wild (2006)- Are animated movies about zoo animals escaping to Africa from NYC. Though Madagascar was the better film.
Dawn of the Dead (2004) and Shaun of the Dead (2004)- Two zombie apocalypse movies. One being a remake of the original film, while the other one is somewhat a parody.
Others:
Goodfellas (1990) and The Godfather III (1990)- They could count since both are mafia films with Oscar nominations, even though The Godfather was only on its third installment.
Scream (1996) and I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)- both being teen slasher films with satire. I always liked Scream a lot more between the two.
It's good to hear you were safe from that storm! Must've been a scary experience. Wish you and others in your situation a well recovery! :)
