Ms. Liu was outstanding (and so f'ing adorable) Thank you so much for starting this thread. I've been meaning to do something similar just so I could mention: Watching the Detectives 2007 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0472205/ Lucy Liu unlike in anything else you've ever seen her in!! I think I can safely say I've never come across a single soul that acknowledged having seen this charming movie. (save of course the old IMDb message board and even there, there was only a half a page of comments, check it out here on MC to see for yourselves) Tomato Cod soup with cucumbers, celery plus I usually couldn't give a shit about language, but FUCK did seem overused in Metal Head by that cunt. Not only that but the worst episode of Black Mirror is better than any Westworld or Game of Thrones I was pleasantly surprised to see that she directed Black Mirror's s04e02, ARKANGEL Black Mirror s04e01 Black Mirror s04e02 Black Mirror s04e03 Three Billboards Black Mirror s04e04 Black Mirror s04e05 and about to queue up the final BLACK MIRROR S04E06, after starting Lady Bird and deciding I'm not in the mood for that right now. I would say it was OKAY. Worth watching once, that's about it. I could give it a a 6 or a 7, I'll to with 7 (and believe me, that's rounding up) I lasted 40 minutes into Call Me, far longer than I lasted with Brokeback. 40 minutes, no story development, no character development --- it ain't the subject matter, its that the story and movie sucked. I only last as long as 40 minutes because of all the hype, but there was only so much shite one can take. It was OK. but noting special IMO. Sure, compared to other usual crap coming out these days it is very good. But compared to some other greats of that genre (Blow comes to mind) it was just so so. The message I got from the book it was the consistent winners betting in the bleachers of Wrigley Field that got him so interested in gambling I peeked but had to stop, to many spoilers, I won't be checking out Thor til the dvd release. You did however prompt me to check out Hunt for the Wilderpeople Gridlock'd was just what I needed to cleanse my soul after 2 minutes of "Love and Freindship" just clip it and put on repeat on VLC and set the playback speed to 10% Tupac gave a great performance in gridlock's why o why on earth would you ever watch a TV version Let me thi HELL NO pretty sure I've seen it, but can't remember a single thing about it. Thanks for nothing, Utter crap. Lasted for maybe three minutes. Then hugely disappointed by Wicker Park. Day finally saved by Gridloc'd great film. This dung reminded me of "The Admiral's MIstress" as portrayed in the GREAT Epix Channel series GET SHORTY I have left all those decisions up to my heirs. They can do whatever they want. What would please, is for this body to be donated for medical research. Most satisfying would it it could also be used to provide parts to help those still alive (organ donation and such)
